"A little slice of paradise. The cottage is beautifully styled and very well appointed with everything you could want. Gorgeous welcome from the hosts including a welcome basket with everything from wine, cheese and crackers and snacks to free range eggs from their hens. A perfect 10 out of 10 and I will definitely return and highly recommend for a couple's romantic retreat or like me a little mini break away from life. I personally have never enjoyed a stay anywhere as much as I did at Plum Cottage."

"My husband and I treated ourselves to a night at Woodhouse the night before departing New Zealand. It is only an hour and a half from Auckland airport despite being quite out of the way in amongst hilly sheep farms. Everything was wonderful...views, decor, food. The main lodge and the cabins have been beautifully decorated. Cabins are large with ample living area including a fireplace and a large bathroom with double shower and spa tub. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Customer service was excellent. My only complaint...our spa bath and gas fireplace did not work."
