"Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. The hosts are very enthusiastic and helpful, and are just a pleasure to chat with. The room was tastefully decorated, with top-shelve amenities. "This was such a cute property! The welcome and check-out gifts were very thoughtful and the variety of snacks available were great! The room was very comfortable and having breakfast options was convenient! I also accidentally left an item behind at checkout and the housekeeping staff/front desk reached out to let me know so I could pick it up in a timely manner- I was so grateful for their trustworthiness and honesty! "We only stayed for one night in the biggest room (3 adults and 3 kids). When we opened the door, everyone was so excited, the room is big and comfortable, I love the style (designed by the host). They also provide the clay/ hand made pottery lesson and DIY pizza for guesses, we all had so much fun with the lesson. the host are very kind and friends, I will bring all my family and go back again soon."

"GH house is a small, friendly hotel close to the main attractions in Lukang — the beautiful Mazu temple and the old streets of the town. The rooms and clean and roomy and quiet. The manager was very friendly. Breakfast was included, but ordering it was a little complicated and the plate of nuts and fruit may not be everyone’s idea for breakfast. But overall a great place to stay when exploring this lovely old town. "
