"The house is wonderful, with plenty of space to use and comfortable. However, it is extremely important to have some adjustments for the safety of the guests. My father-in-law didn't see the step that connects the kitchen to the living room and ended up falling, thankfully he didn't get hurt. The house needs signage on the steps, a non-slip mat to put in the bathtub, which is slippery, and a manual on how to use the stove, which we ended up not being able to use. I work in town somewhat regularly, and the location of this house is perfect in terms of quick access to the major roads and also a short walk into the town center. "Customer service was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Private secure parking available. Shared toilets/showers could have been cleaner."

"The meals were very generous and good pub fare. The room was not heated at all, so be aware in winter it's cold!! An electric blanket would have been helpful. That said, the blankets were warm. Wifi didn't work in the rooms, so we weren't able to watch anything or plan the next day (no tv). Wifi worked in the shared lounge and in the bar. It was clearly a grand hotel in its day, nice that not too much has been modernised. "

"Comfortable and clean house in a great location in a quiet location. Bed was very comfortable and house was cosy in the cold and damp weather during the weekend. It’s great that the owner has thought of electric blankets on the beds and small heaters in the bedrooms. The coffee machine in the kitchen with ground coffee available was a super bonus not often provided in short term/ holiday rentals. Hoping to be back:-)"
