"Lovely cottage perfect for our two night stay in Derbyshire (family of 4). Large master bedroom and twin bedroom ideal for our two boys (12 and 9). The garden and views across the countryside are fantastic. Location was ideal for visiting Bakewell and Chatsworth."

"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"Accommodation was clean, comfortable, within close walking distance to a few eateries and shops, and near Peak District favorites such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell. The children especially enjoyed the playground just across from the back garden. Our only disappointment was that the listing said there was a hot tub, but that must have been an error. All in all a great stay!"

"We hadn’t appreciated what a gorgeous location this property was in. The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. The weather during our visit was terrible but we would love to come back again with better weather to take advantage of all...

"Law Brook Farm Cottage is a lovely little getaway. It is cosy and compact and clean throughout. It’s inviting and the bed is comfy. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but for a city girl the country is going to be a little different. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat it’s perfect. "We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay...

"We originally stayed here when visiting our daughter at Huddersfield Uni and the this was a second visit. everything was excellent and we love the area. Host are excellent at communication and we had a lovely weekend again."

"We had a really relaxing and peaceful stay. The property is very rural which suited us perfectly but you will need a car to pop to the shops. The property has been renovated to a very high standard with quality furniture and fitting throughout. Only minor to be aware of is that the fridge does not have a freezer compartment so don't pick up ice-cream ;-) "

"Excellent location, tidy and clean. Parking takes a bit of working out and more advice beforehand would have helped. Comfy bed and great facilities in the studio. The heater was a bit awkward having only 2 settings, off and volcano. There was no way to adjust because the controls were locked. All in all an excellent choice once you've worked out the virtual front desk. If you are booking with Expedia check all the emails for your entrance code.
