"Property was clean, and the kitchen had everything you could need. Loved the hardwood floors, and it was excellent for children and pets. There were games, and a dog bed and treats as well. The place may appear small, but is actually very well laid out, and the yard is an excellent place to enjoy the children with games and activities. Would highly recommend using this place for the price. Much better then any hotel in the area. "

Fishing, crabbing, boating were good (though crabs a bit on small side) the cottage was clean, well organized and neat. "I booked 2 nights with my parents and grandparents at the island girl getaway. It was possibly the best beach experience I’ve had yet. Tangier is an incredible island rich with history and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the caretaker, Andy was very helpful and kind. We happened to come to the island when the tides were unusually high occasionally throughout the day, yet I would note that our house seemed to be the only one which had no water near it...
