I ended up cancelling the reservation after checked in with in 10 minutes. Once I went to room beer cans everywhere, bed sheets not arranged, peep hold broken and people can see you from outside . When I talked to the front desk its their policy and they cant do refund. They said they will charge for one night and give refund for other night. I left with no option and ended up biting that expense and left the property. It had been more than 2 weeks, I dont see refund for one night either from hotel or from expedia. Even expedia response time for email is 24 hours. Seems like Motel 6 lied and did not issue any refund at all or communicate to expedia. I storngly recommend to not even try booking there . You will have bad experience. This resulted in booking hotel at Marriot for 250$ a night. over all I lost more in all directions. All I tried is to book hotel reasonably priced . Motel 6 disguised me picks in expedia. They need to be accountable and I dont even know how to resolve this. I earn my money by working hard. With some policies that doesn't even makes sense cost me money. I don't know when it will be resolved. Both expedia and motel 6 are accountable for this.
