"We arrived a little later than planned so had to phone the number displayed outside the property. Paul was welcoming and friendly, giving us instructions for entry. He also recommended a couple of dog-friendly pubs for our evening meal. We chose the Lamb & Flag - very popular with massive portions! Our room was comfortable and overlooking the street, but not too noisy. Radiators could be adjusted, so we had a cosy sleep. Breakfast was delicious. Full cooked, cereals, toast, yogurt, juices. ...

Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. "Great location just metres from the village centre with the added bonus of parking at rear. Excellent host - very informative about local attractions and amenities and even booked a table for us at a local pub for our evening meal."

"Key provided didn’t work in my allocated room so I was allowed to use a different room which turned out to be a flat. Bit of an inconvenience but I probably got a better room for the same price so can’t complain. "
