Your courtyard entrance opens into your private living quarters. Your fully equipped kitchen and delightful dining area looks out through a wall of windows to the courtyard garden. You are also welcome to dine outside on the courtyard table and use the outside grill. From the dining room, step through the French doors into the classy comfort of your living room, where you can unwind, read, or watch TV. Next, walk through to the bedrooms. The light and airy master bedroom overlooks the courtyard and has a queen bed. The second bedroom shares the bathroom and has a trundle bed which easily makes a bed for two. If needed, the living room couch pulls out into a queen bed. Pine Hill is always stocked with gourmet coffee, linens, towels, and bath products.

The entire Garden Home is all yours! Your Garden Home is attached to the main house, but completely private. You are welcome to use the courtyard. Enjoy sitting outside and using the grill. The washer and dryer is available and accessible in the entrance hall as you enter.

Historic Midtown is the ideal location for any visit to Tallahassee. It is a stone's throw away from the Florida Capital. Just a stroll away, you will find Midtown's restaurants, libations, and live music. By day, Midtown provides shopping and cafes. Cozy comfort
Had a short, but great stay for parents weekend at Florida State. Location was a very walkable pleasant neighborhood and very quiet …was about a 10 minute ride to all the activities that we came to Tallahassee for. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet Retreat
The apartment was very cute & in a good location. We enjoyed our time there. The difficult part of it was not getting hot water in the bathroom sink without letting gallons of water run. That was concerning.

Perfect for extended family visits
We recently enjoyed a visit from our son's family. He and his wife visited with their two children. We live in Tallahassee, but rented this home for their four night stay. It was great for them to have a place to retreat to at the end of a day with us to put the kids down and have their own space. The garden patio was perfect for outside time. The location is superb and they enjoyed a lovely walk to midtown breakfast one morning. I will recommend this idea to all my friends who are grandparents!

Beautiful and Welcoming Property
This property felt like home. It was decorated in my style. I didn't cook any but there appeared to be all the items needed. Lots of hot water for personal care. There is what I would call a small English type garden with comfortable seating. It was a great place to sit and have tea. I don't often rate a property this high but there weren't really any down sides. Hostess was awesome. I will certainly stay again.

Not what we expected.
Although the location was excellent, the picture of the front of the house was very misleading. That’s not where we were able to stay. Where we stayed was in the very back which was a small studio. It’s a good thing we were eating out because the appliances were rudimentary at best.

LOCATION and Peaceful
You can't beat the location in midtown of this cozy cottage. Our family of 4 was comfortable. The space is smaller than I expected from the pictures, but we were totally fine. We were there to visit our college student, so not hanging out there inside a lot. Beds are comfortable, loved the style and decor, coffee items were provided, and we loved spending morning time in the courtyard. Having that outdoor space was a wonderful extension of the cottage. We walked to dinner and the neighborhood was so peaceful. Questions were answered quickly by the host, and we would stay here again!

Great neighborhood and close to everything.
Did not know split plan where someone is sharing other half of house. Can hear everything thru walls. Baby crying. Have to reserve laundry day to use washer and dryer, but can only use 9-4. Most on vacation are out and about between 9-4. This should be included in listing regarding times and having to reserve a day to use. . I reserve VRBOs with laundry options as a prerequisite or I don’t reserve. Beds super comfortable. Great area.

Respite from the storm
We stayed here as an evacuation from recent hurricanes. The property is cozy and comfortable. I especially loved the outdoor courtyard every morning, the walkable neighborhood, and proximity to FSU. Given that this is a private, but "shared" space, I had questions and texts daily to the owner, all of which were answered immediately and positively. We were made to be very comfortable and safe for our stay in a challenging time. Thank you!

Live like a local
This is the sweetest little guest house in the perfect midtown Tallahassee location. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, but still under 10 minutes away from the Florida State campus, the capitol building, TMH and dozens of great restaurants and retail locations. My adult son and I were in town to visit family and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The two bedrooms and one bathroom feel just the right size for two or maybe three people. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely garden-like hideaway
This is a sweet retreat from the hotel experience. Located in a lovely, old neighborhood, this “cottage” is fully stocked for overnight or a month. No, it’s not the Four Seasons but it was comfortable and cozy and perfect for our recent 4-day stay.

This cottage had what we needed for our quick weekend visit. The 6 of us slept well in our beds and the house was clean. While we didn't use much of the kitchenette mostly just the refrigerator, I noticed it was stocked with all the basics. I also appreciated the conveniences of things I forgot to pack like a blow dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. This was perfectly located less than 10 minutes from all the events we attended on the FSU campus. Thank you, Lela!

Great Place and Owners! Just be aware of mini fridge!
This home was very cute and clean and the owners were great communicators. We really enjoyed our time there. Just a couple of things worth mentioning in case it helps someone just be more prepared - the AC/Heat is run by the owners through an app, so you have to ask them to turn it up or down for you and they will set it - just be prepared that you cannot keep switching the temperature yourself, but the owners were very quick with communication about this and texted us to make sure all was ok. The only other thing is if you don't notice in the online picture that the fridge in the kitchen is just a mini fridge -- so be prepared to bring an ice chest and your own ice!!!
