Surround yourself in rich, knotty pine features, warm decor, and lush green forests at this beautiful lodge set in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Inside this gorgeous, three-story home, you can command the well-equipped, full kitchen and prepare all your favorite recipes, and then dine together at the breakfast bar and the adjacent dining table. On the main level, there is also an inviting living area with soaring ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a TV with a Blu-ray/DVD player all ready for movie nights. Downstairs, you'll find an expansive main suite with an additional living area, fireplace, and TV. Outside, take in the forest and mountain view from the enormous, wraparound deck on the main level and the lower-level deck that invites you out into the grassy yard. Gathering around the firepit is the perfect way to spend evenings together.

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great cabin for Father's day adventure with kids
Despite several minor issues that are easily adjusted by the owners (hot tub temp, plenty of DVDs but no DVD player...), the cabin was brilliant. Would stay here again. Really loved the secluded nature of this a cabin versus others in the area and the furnishings were comfortable and top shelf!

Anniversary trip
The cabin was perfect, we felt very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable, cabin was clean. Couldn't watch any TV cause of weather but, that was fine. Nice porches to sit and eat outdoors on. Nice winery's around the area, Bigun's BBQ was wonderful,Ellijay not too far off

We spent a long weekend with our family at Ania's cabin over a friend's wedding. We love Talking Rock! I would recommend cleaning the porches and under the furniture. Watch out you don't trip on a few loose floor boards on the porch:) We like the privacy and peaceful setting!

Was great, the home was beautiful and very well decorated with all necessities. The address was 85 Big Ridge Rd not 85 Hunter Dr. That needs corrected, we like to have never found the house. Be careful of the rugs on the downstairs steps. They will slip on you. The outside was very nice. The place was very very clean. We loved Elijay and Talking Rock very much!

It was really cold the first night and the gas log fire places would not ignite despite following explicit directions left on the mantle. We found the extra blankets and managed. The jacuzzi was taken apart and obviously being in a state of repair when we arrived. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and made s’mores in the fire pit. We would definitely return.

Cabin Journey
The property is as described for the most part. The place is beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. Plenty of space, more than needed for 2 people. There needs to be better directions to the property. I called for help, got disconnected and no one ever called back. Our saving grace was the mail carrier told us to keep going and we were on the right road. There are 2 fireplaces and Not good instruction on how to light and turn on. Never got either to light. This is one of the reasons I booked this cabin and also the gas grill is not good as it needs attention as well. Wasn't able to use at all it wouldn't light, burners are bad and no gas. We still had an amazing time even though these few things were not operational.

Overall a super cute, quaint getaway cabin! There were few aspects that disappointed us in our stay. The wifi signal in the home was very weak. The TV could not even load due to the weak signal. In a spot where cell service is not strong, reliable wifi would be nice. There were no instructions for the hot tub, and we simply could not figure out how to have it heat up, so we missed out on that benefit of this cabin. We would’ve preferred a deeper clean of the cabin prior to our arrival as well. Again, these inconveniences are minor, but can have a great impact on your comfort during your stay.

Very nice house with poor cleaning service
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin house for 3 nights. The house itself very nice and has everything necessary. The only reason I rated 3 start is because of poor cleaning service. On the chek in day, I received a message from Vacassa says house is cleaned and ready for check in and I arrived at 5pm. We found the house very dirty and messy because it was not cleaned after the previous renter. Countertop was full of dirty dishes, linens were everywhere, trash bin was full and etc. We started our vacation with washing dishes and vacuuming the house. Luckily we brought our own linens, towels, pillows etc. Later in the evening the cleaning people came and told us we did not know someone will stay tonight :(. Anyway, they quickly cleaned!!! and left. I recommend Vacassa to order a deep cleaning for this beautiful house and maintained well because it is a big investment that is taken care of poorly.

Great Woodsy Getaway!
Our family made the hour drive to the mountains for the weekend. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. It was a beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. We hiked, hung out, played games, and watched movies. A couple recommendations if you're going with the full group of 8. While there's plenty of sleeping, eating and relaxing space, the main living room doesn’t have space for all 8 to sit without being on the floor so we watched in the basement. Also, the wifi was very hit and miss so bring your own dvds or download to your own movie apps to connect to the tvs with an hdmi. It rained our whole trip so perhaps that affected the service. As for the kitchen, it was a little tight for all of us to work together when making breakfast or family style meals. Also, lacking in a few kitchen supplies for big meals. There was no large oven safe casserole dish, only one large stockpot to make pasta, and only one cookie sheet for things like garlic bread or breakfast biscuits. Maybe consider bringing a couple dishes of your own. All in all, we LOVED Ania's cabin for our family and would definitely recommend it and visit again!!

***CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL AND SPACIOUS***.
The first thing I noticed when driving up to the property, was. how it looked just like the picture....beautiful! The porch leading into the cabin, was so cute and cozy, seating for everyone..lights, decor...just gorgeous. When we walked in, the first thing I noticed, was how clean it smelled, (this cabin allows pets), and it felt like home. And the pictures online, don't do it justice. Every little detail had that perfect cabin feel. From the decor of bears and owls, to the candles everywhere, and the fireplaces, etc. The decks were perfect! We sat outside the first morning, bundled up in blankets, and sipped on hot coffee....just perfect. The downstairs suite was huge! It has a gas fireplace, bathroom, sitting area, king size bed, and another bedroom....along with a deck. The main floor had a bedroom, bathroom and half bath as well....along with living, dining and kitchen area, and gas fireplace. The loft, which is where I slept, was nothing short of phenomenal....The A Frame view was perfect for gazing at the stars....the bed was comfy and cozy....our guest confirmed their beds were equally as comfortable. We were there for a few days, and the longer we were there, I noticed there were no cobwebs anywhere, no dust or dirt; this cabin was immaculate!! And to me, that's so important. We will be coming back up for Mother's Day this year....cannot wait!

Absolutely beautiful home and lovely place to stay.
This house is gorgeous and was the perfect place for a long weekend in northern GA. The internet is spotty but that's likely because of the remote (ish) location. Would stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Great mountain get-away
Loved everything about this home. However, be prepared to bring along food as it is in quite a remote area-closest town for groceries, food stores and restaurants are at least 15 miles away, more like 20+ to Jasper. No mountain views if that is what you are looking for.

White Christmas
We loved being at the cabin at Christmastime! It snowed the first night and the kids made a mini snowman and threw snowballs at each other. The cabin itself was so comfy with the fireplaces and the recliners and the hot tub. We had a great week with family and enjoyed our vacation so much!
