Spacious Talkeetna home on Ruth Glacier Avenue

Looking for a fully furnished, comfortable house that can sleep 10? This 2-story home has a master bedroom on the main floor with a king bed. On the main floor you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry closet and a bathroom. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms each with queen beds, two bonus rooms that have two twin beds each and a bathroom servicing them. There is a covered deck that hosts a propane grill, couches, tables and chairs for your outdoor relaxation surrounded by a grass yard. Lots of parking in the driveway. We are located just off the Talkeetna Spur road. We are 4 miles from the Parks Highway Junction and 10 miles from Talkeetna's town site. We are directly across from the bike path that connects the Parks Highway with the Talkeetna townsite.

Great family home
This place is super clean and well stocked. Great location for Denali and Talkeetna. We had a small toilet issue and the owner, April, responded ASAP and had it fixed before we returned for the day. I would stay there again.

This home was wonderful in every way. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The host has thought of everything. We traveled to Talkeenta and became members of the 30% Club actually seeing Denali in all its glory. Four separate families were able to stay here with no problems.

We only stayed for a couple of nights but the house was perfect and we really enjoyed sitting on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed, quality pots and pans, coffee, etc. We would definitely recommend this house.

Great house close to everything
The house was perfect for 9 adults. Everyone had their own space, just note that all the rooms upstairs don't don't have doors - just in case you have someone who snores. The living space was ample and we really enjoyed the patio area.

Perfect beautiful home with lots of bedrooms for a big group. Very nice kitchen dining room for making meals, yet close to Talkeetna for a unique village with dinner options. Nicely thoughtful bathroom amenities and kitchen cleaning supplies. Super comfortable bedding!!!

As 5 friends just completing the Denali Hwy road races, we were looking for a place where we could spread out and get some R&R. This home offered that and more. The owners thought of everything and kept in contact with us during our stay. We would highly recommend this home.

Everything was perfect. Cute, well cleaned house that is in a perfect location. Loved our stay! The backyard/covered deck was our favorite to sit and relax after long hiking days. We also enjoyed eating our meals there. No complaints about anything :)

This place is the gold standard for a rental on the VRBO website! I wouldn’t change a thing and it was truly a gem of a property. Also, the property manager was very prompt and provided excellent customer service. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to travel to Denali!

Very Relaxing Home
We really enjoyed our stay in Talkeetna with family and friends. The house was very clean, very well stocked and had everything we needed. We had fun in Talkeetna for a day and hiking in Denali state park for a day. We felt like the house was the perfect relaxing spot to end our trip in Alaska. We felt refreshed for the plane trip home :) Thanks April!

Very nice house in a great location. We had 10 in our family ranging from 3 yr old and up. Plenty of room, super clean, great yard. Owner was very responsive, we had one small issue which the owner promptly fixed. House exceeded expectations.

Gorgeous home!
This property was everything shown on the listing and more! The host is easy to communicate with and really has made every extra effort for a seamless stay. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for our group and the Talkeetna area has plenty to offer any visitor or local wanting a quick get away. We were pleasantly surprised with clear skies for our Aurora photography. Thank you April for sharing your lovely home!

Perfect location, well stocked.
This home was perfect for my family, 5 adults. Well stocked with all the extras, snacks for hiking, bug spray- so needed, black out curtains. Nice beds. Kitchen well stocked to cook meals. Just outside Talkeetna, we drove to and from Denali in a day. This is perfect for family- also had books, few games, large table for family to sit at. Beautiful patio, we did not sit on with mosquitos but is available.

What an amazing stay!! We walked in and were instantly blown away by the comfy-cozy feel of the place. It was clean, inviting, spacious, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect and although there were other houses near, we felt very tucked away and enjoyed having that kind of privacy. April was super easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this place is beautifully and thoughtfully put together--from the amenities to the cute Alaska decor, we felt comfortable. It was the cherry on top of an already incredible trip! Look forward to staying here again next time we visit Alaska!!

Home away from home
This home was incredible for our large group. With beds for all 10 of us and enough space for everyone to spread out, this home was perfect for our needs. We REALLY appreciated all of the extra touches (shampoo, conditioner, baggies, bandaids, extra tp, laundry detergent, snacks, bottled water, coffee and tea, etc.) This location allowed us to explore Denali to Anchorage. Thank you for your quick responses to questions and suggestions. I hope we make it this way again.

My wife and I took my in-laws, 3 sisters, and 2 partners to Talkeetna. That's 9 people. In one house. It worked perfectly. The house is immaculate and stocked with everything you'll need (coffee filters, salt & pepper, olive olive oil, quality pots & pans, tasteful dinnerware). We would stay here again in a heart beat.

What a lovely place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The house was clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. The hosts thought of everything, from the snacks and coffee (thank you!) to the first aid kit (which we thankfully didn't need), we had everything we could have asked for. The grounds were well kept, and we enjoyed the deck and playing in the yard. It's a short drive into town or to the market. Surprisingly, my daughters really enjoyed the piano as well, and left knowing a couple songs with the help from YouTube. We had a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. Thank you!
