"Michi was so helpful at check-in by walking us to the villa and explaining a bit about the villa’s history and amenities. When we needed to forward our luggage, he was also the person that helped us by writing the information in Japanese to better assist the delivery person. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The only improvement we could recommend is that the seats sink a bit too much and needs to be repaired. "Absolutely wonderful villa nestled in the Higashiyama hills. Beautiful setting and away from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto. Short walk into Gion and right next to a lovely small temple. Friendly staff and everything you need is there. Cant wait to go back."

"Incredible property. Perfect for larger groups (mine had 6). You get the whole building to yourself and it’s separated by bathroom (which has a private Onsen), bed rooms, and living room. There were some minor issues but the host was very communicative and quick to fix such as a toilet not flushing or soap dispensers being empty. Overall fantastic stay"

"A spotless and very nicely appointed accommodation. Located near several points of interest and bus stops, this was a great place for us to base our Kyoto exploration from. The host was lovely and very accommodating, would very much recommended this stay, especially for a couple or smaller family."

"全体的に良かった。特にキッチン周りの充実(ホームベーカリーやバリスタ、冷蔵庫のデカさ、食器の清潔さ、などなど)や本格的なバレルサウナ、家具などは満足。一方、チェックイン16時からなので、1泊2日の場合初日は十分にサウナを満喫できず、15時だと嬉しいところ。チェックアウトが11時なので翌日に楽しめたが、できれば時間を気にせず初日に楽しみたい。"

"Wonderful property with a great location and is super quiet. Property was clean, well maintained, and the management company was great. The outside tub is really great and my family loved it."

"The property was just as advertised and perfect for 3 generations of a family to stay together comfortably. The location was walking distance to bus stops, train stations, convenience stores and supermarkets. The only issues were that the rooms and house gets very cold if the heat is not constantly running and there was no electricity coming from the outlets in the dining room or bedroom directly above it. These are not something that should deter someone from staying at this location."

"There was 8 of us who stayed in the house and we all had our own bed. That is why I booked this house and it was perfect. Don’t hesitate if you’re debating on it. You’ll be so glad you did. You’ll get an authentic feeling stay. Short 4 min walk to 7 Eleven and 6 min walk to bus. It is a farther walk (15ish min) from subway, which is what you’ll need to take when you have luggage. "We really enjoyed our stay here. We were 5 adults and 1 child. The hotel is newer, very clean, and the staff was great. Check in and check out we’re very quick and easy. Have the laundry and detergent readily available was very convenient and helpful. The hotel is by a 711, 2-3 minute walk to the blue line which is one stop to Gion.
