"It was amazing. Everyone was very helpful. Get this! Almost all the way north, I discovered I’d left my passport in the safe. They confirmed it. Driver and manager met me at the station when I returned, took me to get my stuff, took me back to the station and helped me buy my return ticket. WOW!!"

"This was our second extended stay at The Gaya in Taitung, while visiting family. it felt 'tired' this time. Carpets in hallway a bit dirty, although I understand wheeling luggage along them won't help. Since our last visit, Taiwan has implemented no single use items in the room. And I do support this. On the other hand, the tea/coffee station was very sparse... 2 coffee bags, 2 tea bags. No sugar, no milk/creamer, no spoons. Maybe I could have requested that, but it was not a welcoming...
