Overall, this was an acceptable place to sleep for the night, though I don’t have very high standards. The room was clean, the bathroom had towels and toiletries.
That being said, there was the mold problem that I smell in many hotels in Taiwan. At one point, I started sneezing uncontrollably, and I don’t consider myself to be sensive to mold.
Also, the a/c control wasn’t much of a control. There was no way to adjust the temp, which was 17 degrees C. Could only choose various fan strength and ac or dehumidifier or shut the thing off. Outside temp was 15 when I woke up. At that temp, there should be heat. When I turned off to a/c completely, the room stunk of mold. I could the person in the room next to me messing with the ac controls too.
Likely problems caused by building a 14th floor on a 13 floor building.

Convenient location and clean toilets in a compact room. The building itself is a bit dated. We found our room and its walls quite damp though there was a de-humidifier. The front desk staff are not very friendly or communicative compared to hostels but still an overall decent experience.
The room and shared bathroom for the ladies are really clean. The lounge and the room is quite cozy as well. The room abit small but there is still quite a space for luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Extremely convenient location for my particular trip. I had an event at the Taipei Gymnasium, and this was just about a block away.
Close to main road and transit, as well as convenience stores and restaurants. Thank you for facilitating a memorable and wonderful trip!

Good location, clean room, helpful staffs, nice decoration.
This place was quite good value for the price. Rooms are big enough and clean and the stations are nearby. The only problem was the wi-fi was weak and kept cutting out.
Easy to get to and close enough to local train stations. Good bars around the area and a close enough walk to tourist attractions like the 101 building and memorial museum. Clean, small and compact rooms and the bathrooms are clean enough definitely worth the money paid and would highly recommend to travellers. Wifi is also good and a nice lobby to relax in.
Was convenient where I can walk to the place where I need to go every day. Just the elevator was crowd sometimes since the hotel is on the top floor of an office building.
During my stay, the weather was very cold and there is no central heater, so the room was quite cold.
Third day into our 14 days stay, our child started getting a nasty rash and bad cough from the bedding. The room smell like mold and mildrew with the constant feel of dampness. The couch inside the room have an infestation of mold after looking underneath it. We immediately made the staff aware of the situation and was told we were the second to filed a complaint in regards to mold issue. We contacted Hotwire to cancel our remaining stay and the manager of the hotel agreed to refund the rest of our stay. Our bed sheet were never change once while we were there. Please don’t fall victim like us, stay away from this place. We checked into the ArTree hotel down the street and the living condition greatly improved. You really pay what you get.
Awesome place! Everything was perfect. Only downside was there seems to be a bar nearby. The bass kept me up since I'm a light sleeper. Nothing too major though! Would definitely be back here! Love it!!

A good location where I were visited for couple days.
Maybe it should need to build an auto laundry room and free breakfast for guests, thanks
Convenient location. The single room is small and has no window so it's like living in a box. But it's ok for just one night stay. It's pretty clean and good air conditioning is a plus.
