"All of the staff were extremely friendly. I am coeliac and I really appreciate the gluten free station for breakfast. There was something to suit everyone for breakfast from fresh fruit to traditional full Scottish/ continental. We also had our evening meal in the hotel and the waiting staff obviously took my dietary requirement seriously and checked with the chef if my choice of meal was safe for me to eat. This is our second stay at the hotel and will return again. The bed was very comfortable. We were on the third floor so there was no noise from the street. Didn’t book a river view as only there for one night. The room was clean with a modern shower/ toilet but would benefit from a bit of an upgrade as the carpet was a bit tired looking. This did not detract from our stay and we will certainly return. "
