This is a hot springs hotel. It is an older property still in good repair and must’ve been something in its bygone days. Everything works. It’s pretty clean. Rooms are large.
Our room had a deep soaking tub. We also had a separate drinking water tap, with the wash and bathing water being sulfuric and therapeutic so that you could soak in your own tub.
The location is excellent. The property is adjacent to outdoor publicly accessible hot springs and has its own private entrance. In addition, there are several small man-made pools where the fish will nibble and clean your feet. (It kind of tickles.)
As the location is a bit remote inside a remote township or village, outside dining options are limited. People who aren’t driving should be advised to purchase the evening meal plan. (Breakfast is or should be provided, and you will likely be out at the National Park during the day.) I would recommend the evening meal plan, which was delicious and well-prepared.
Drivers expect to travel to this property from Taichung, Taiwan, in about 1.2 hours.
