Plan your Tahoma getaway at the Waters Edge Oasis. You'll be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Waters Edge HOA membership, and a prime location. The HOA includes a swimming pool (only open during summer), BBQ and picnic areas, a waterfront lawn, a private beach, and a dock offering access to the expansive shoreline. During the winter, you're just 2-miles away from Homewood Mountain Resort!

You'll be welcomed by a cozy living room, furnished with a Smart TV( to stream your favorite Netflix, Hulu or Disney specials), gas fireplace, and comfortable seating. Make some hot chocolate and set the ambiance by getting the fireplace going! From here, you can access the balcony, great for summer cookouts. Grill up burgers on the gas BBQ and dine outside in the fresh mountain air.

The kitchen is stocked with a drip coffee pot, dishwasher, slow cooker, utensils, pots/pans, and more to make you feel right at home. Cook up your favorite meals and gather around the dining table for some great conversation and food.

The master bedroom has a King bed, Smart TV, and an en suite bathroom. The master bathroom has dual sinks and a standing shower. The 2nd bedroom has a King bed and Twin bunk bed, great for when you're traveling with kids! The 2nd bathroom is newly remodeled and has a standing shower.

The laundry room has a washer and dryer, great for the extended stays. There is 1 designated parking spot. RV's and trailers are not allowed. Please remember to only park in your home's designated parking space, do not leave any excess trash outside, and only contact us (not the HOA at this home) for any questions.

The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.

Lake views and near to the Lake
I loved staying at this unit, and highly recommend. The following comments are not intended as criticism, rather just to help others manage expectations. Property is well situated near the lake. Water’s edge has units that are on the water, this unit is one row back, about a 60 second walk. Filtered views of the lake from a couple of rooms. Other units on the lake have better views, but less privacy. I spoke to one of the lakeside owners, she does not rent out her place. Kitchen is very well equipped, the only thing we missed? A toaster. The complex is very strict about parking, only one spot allocated, and warnings not to park in empty spaces. Not an issue for us, but a bit of a hassle for people to stop by and say hello. Suggested solutions on this point would be appreciated. Beds are firm and comfortable, one bathroom is updated, both are more than adequate. Lots of seating at the dining room table, way more than we needed for two people. We previously owned a 5 bedroom on the lake, and this experience was nearly as good. Personally, I enjoy the opportunity to mingle a bit, which this affords. Not sure if possible to rent a buoy, that would be a nice addition. Thanks to the owner for making their place available to share.

Perfect Location and nice stay
Our family of five were very comfortable in this unit. Location in Tahoma was great for hiking and biking and access to Tahoe city. It truly is a beachfront complex and was a two minute walk down to a small private beach and pier. It was busy at times but we were able to find a spot every day. The unit was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. It was a nice touch to have both a barbecue grill and a Traeger for cooking meals at home. Tahoe is one of our favorite places to vacation and we would definitely consider staying here again if it is available. The check-in process was very easy with good communication for checking in and checking out.

Wonderful Stay!
We had a lovely stay at this home in Tahoma. We are a family of 4 on vacation. The home had everything we needed, was comfortable, and in a great location. We enjoyed the pool, the beach and easy access into Sugar Pine State Park next door. There are a couple of great local eateries in walking distance. Would stay again.

It was a pain to find the place!
There was a lack of detailed instructions and assistance from Grand Welcome staff that led to us not finding the house until almost 2:30am - 2.5 hours after we arrived!! We are from the Midwest so not only are we unfamiliar with the area, we are also not familiar with every potential risk with walking around in the dark. My husband was forced to walk in the dark in a wooded area trying to find our rental. Had he been injured or worse, I would hold Grand Welcome responsible. What none of the employees told us and what was missing from the instructions was that our rental was at the “South” entrance which had the same address but a different access point. All we were told is we’re in the wrong area and that we need to read the instructions. I tried to explain that we reviewed the instructions, followed the directions and used our GPS to try to get there. All I was told was “well does the house look like the photos?” - I think so but I’m not totally sure. But we can’t get in. I don’t know why. The photos aren’t helping because it’s 1 in the morning. “Well you’re in the wrong area” - ok, I understand that and that’s why I called because we can’t find the house. “Do you see any Grand Welcome signage?” - No. and it’s dark so we can’t see much. Evenly we were told the equivalent of “You’re out of luck.” When we found the house we were exhausted and I asked for a refund for the day we missed due to their poor service and I have yet to hear back. The rest of the week was beautiful

great stay near Homewood!
this was a great location for our group! we came to west lake tahoe to ski/snowboard at homewood. highly recommend this place, although it was a little hard to find because there are two entrances to the community - a north entrance and a south entrance. for this listing, you have to enter from the south entrance (it wasn't very clear at night when we arrived). we also weren't granted a late check out time even though there weren't back to back listings. other than that, this property was well stocked with kitchen supplies, warm (central heating+ fireplace!), and spacious for the 5 of us. would definitely come back :)

Only a few steps to the lake in a great village. Good pool. Great pizza spot across the street. Very quiet. Really enjoyed just sitting on the bench at the end of the pier and taking it all in.

Great place with poor check-in
The place was great bearby to the lake and close proximity of ski resorts. However, we had difficulty for check-in. The door code was wrong and we were there in dark snowy weather condition. I was calling the number that they gave us but that no one was answering. At the end, someone answered after an hour and told us to try several numbers and luckily the forth one worked. He was not fast in giving us the numbers and was asking us continuously if we are entering it the right way. I really got so frustrated because I expected to be understood in that condition. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot but the check-in was not good at all. Also, I have to mention the living room tv remote control were missing that was not very important as there was a TV in each room.

This property is in a Great location, close to the water, hiking trails and close, but not too close to Tahoe City. The property was very clean, well stocked, and the surrounding property was extremely quiet. We run, hike, and mountain bike right from the property, which was a great bonus.
