"Was such an amazing time. The space was huge and the views spectacular. Such a big and vibrant place with a lot of character. Certainly an amazing space. "

"We all enjoyed our stay in this very well located house. There was some confusion regarding wifi and this could have been made clearer to us on the original listing. It would also have helped our check in if we had been told the name of the street where the on site car park was located (house was on a corner and we had a little trouble locating the car entry point). Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay and there was plenty to enjoy locally. "

I felt like I had stepped back into a bygone era, yet we still had all the modern cons including 2 newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen.The range free eggs, wine and chocolates were a very personal touch which were appreciated....

"This property was clean, however, not enough coffee mugs & glass tumblers.The beds require mattress protectors & new hand towels (the one we had was stained)In saying this it didn't distract from our stay."

"Amber cottage was for me was what you see is what you get . Photos did justice to the accomodation if not more . Easy entry and departure . A great house suitable for young , teenagers or older … We couldn’t get the main air con to cool the house ."

"Our daughter was moving into the Uni accommodation so this house was fantastic in its location. It has everything we needed to stay for the week. My only slightly critique is that for a family there needs to be more towel rails and/ or hooks. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and to cook "

"Wonderful one-night stay with old friends. Small things made us feel really welcome; The air conditioning had been put on to cool the home for our arrival, there was lovely fresh bread and some wine on the counter. We loved the option of indoor or outdoor dining. We all appreciated the effort the hosts had gone to, thank you. "

"This house was filthy, covered in mould and had a broken glass door on a cabinet. There was only one small heater and the property was freezing. We left early and asked for a complete refund."
