The Space:
Olive Sanctuary is just 2 hours from Melbourne in the rural town of Taggerty. It’s a farm stay experience within an olive grove overlooking a peaceful dam. Watch kangaroos in their natural habitat, take in the vast open spaces, and explore nearby attractions like Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, Stevenson Falls, Lake Eildon, Cathedral Range State Park, and Rainforest Gallery. A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding areas. There are dams on the property; children should not wander into the olive grove or near the dams. Do not wander off into the olive grove without the owner’s consent, especially in areas without tracks. Always seek permission and suggestions from the owners. You are welcome to walk around or picnic in the nearby grove.

- The route is accessible for 2WD vehicles.
By Public Transport:
- The nearest public transport option is a train from Melbourne to Lilydale Station.
- From Lilydale, you can take a bus to Taggerty.
- There is no local taxi service available.
By Flight:
- The closest major airport is Melbourne Tullamarine, about 2 hours away by car from Taggerty.

- Wifi is not available
- No walking near dams
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- Be aware of snakes during the summer
- Smoking is not allowed on the property
- Cooking inside the tiny house is not permitted
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Kids must be under close watch by their parents
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- For biosecurity reasons, do not bring soil, weeds, or live creatures onto the farm
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra and Optus; no signals for other telco lines
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
