Loved outdoor areas
A Closet would have been nice but we managed
We stayed three nights while in town for our daughter’s graduation from PLU. The property was even better than advertised. Loved the neighborhood. Loved the view of Commencement Bay from the patio. Loved the big, comfy bed. And the sauna was fantastic!
Couldn’t have stayed at a better place. Very clean and comfortable. The location is great and drinking coffee watching the sunrise in the morning was fantastic!!! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay!
This is a nice little spot for 1 or 2 people. Noce host! There is a view of the ocean from the yard. The bed was comfortable, needs more pillows. I would suggest a floor fan & window fans for air circulation as the room gets stuffy without fresh air. The TV is a micro 24” screen - way too small.
My husband had a conference at the Tacoma Convention Center. This was a short, easy drive to the convention center and also a short distance and easy drive to Port Defiance park. Enjoyed our stay!
The location was perfect for us. We were in town to visit family and friends. Close to the waterfront restaurants, and to family. Easy access to the Narrows Bridge.
Two suggestions: Notify client of the significant stair in order to enter the bathroom; the addition or access to water and a sink would be ideal in the coffee area.
The property was very clean. It was in a great neighborhood and had lots of amenities nearby. Great communication. Highly recommend.

Quiet, quirky, and comfortable
I slept better there than I had i 30 years. The location is quiet and within easy reach of shopping and attractions, like the Point Defiance Park and the Ferry to Vashon. I would gladly stay there in the future.
Beautiful area. Super cute guest house. It’s very small and only a microwave and mini fridge for kitchen equipment. But if you are ok with that, it’s a great place. They do little things to make you feel very welcome. We will definitely book here if we are back in the area.
Cozy quiet and comfortable. Nice to have a view to wake up to! The house is located in a great residential neighborhood we walked to the waterfront and the park enjoying all the beautiful views, houses, and flowers along the way! Because we were in Tacoma for a wedding we didn't get to hit the museums or do much shopping but I think we will just need to come back!
Comfortable and relaxing home base for a busy weekend. First time experiencing a PNW heatwave. So pleased that the situation of the guesthouse kept it cool all day. Thanks for the lovely accommodations.
My husband and I were in town for a wedding and had no knowledge of the area. We chose this spot because it checked off everything we needed. It surpassed any expectations we had. It is in an amazing neighborhood in walking distance to coffee, grocery, shops, cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jocelyn was very responsive and available when I had questions. What a wonderful little place. The only downfall was the 6 ft beam that ran the width of the space, which my 6’3” husband caught with his head a few times. Whoops!

Nice room in beautiful quiet neighborhood
Other than the place not being prepared for us to check in, this place is a nice "hotel room" type option. Just a room with a microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a very nice view. The owners were out of town and miscommunicated with the contact person so the place wasn't ready when we checked in. Dirty dishes, used bottles of water around, no coffee, or wine glasses (as stated) were left for us. It took about 8 hours but we finally got some assistance. Overall though, it's a nice place to stay.

Low ceiling, low beam, poor light, chopped up rooms. No pictures indicating irregularities
This property has some issues. The pictures do not portray the truth…very low ceiling and lower beam, poor light, dirty windows, and the room is under the garage and it feels like it with chopped up space. toilet and bathroom sink in small, oddly sized space.
Worse, pictures don’t tell you the story.

Tacoma stay
Clothing was left in 2 bureau drawers.
There were 2 bath towels, 2 face cloths, 1 hand towels for 2 adults for 8 days. I requested additional towels and had to wait until mid-week to get 2 clean towels. and I had to turn in the 2 used towels so they could be washed for the next people coming in.
No mats to step on leaving shower. Floor was tiled and slippery.
Only men's body wash, no shampoo, hotel soap only.
Bath step up to toilet was an 11 inch step, way too steep.
We chose to park in street but 4 days someone was parked in our assigned space and on the final night owners car was parked at bottom of drive blocking access.
I would not return.
