The location is everything
We really enjoyed our stay here. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. We loved all the local small businesses. Curran Coffee is a must. Their coffee and bagels are amazing. We ate twice at Cooks Tavern for breakfast. Highly recommend!

MIKE WAS VERY ACCOMODATING, THE AREA AND FACILITY WERE VERY NICE! WOULD COME BACK. THE VRBO CHECK-IN INFO DID NOT ARRIVE, HOWEVER, BUT MIKE TOOK CARE OF IT.

Misleading description of Property
The description of the property lists "sleeps 3". We were there for 4 days. We were shocked to find that the sleeping place was a pullout sleeper sofa with an older double size mattress on a weak spring for only 2 adults. We ended up putting the foam mattress on the floor and slept that way for the rest of our stay. Many places were within walking distance. We arrived at night. The instructions were not clear. There were no outside lights to see how to unlatch the gate, which was a wire holding it shut. The instructions were poor and not complete on using the code to open the entry door. It was made more difficult with no outside light. We had to look up directions online on how to lock and unlock with that type of locking device. No instructions on using the code to lock the door. Plenty instructions online and in the house on cleaning up and taking out the trash, even though we paid a cleaning fee. There was not a phone number to call direct with any problems. We would NOT stay here again. Not true to the description and of course, definitely not worth the price of over $100.

convenient, quiet refuge
In the wonderful Proctor neighborhood, peekaboo views of the Sound and a private courtyard perfect for reflection, BBQ or enjoying the modern fire pit, in the middle of a super fun part of Tacoma! Laundry facilities great to have at hand! Very nice HUGE well equipped kitchen--the knives are sharp! (That never happens). A little difficult to get the key to work in the lock but maybe a bit of graphite might help. The host is very quick to respond and 100% helpful.

Just a block away
Perfect location for downtown Proctor. Walk to shops and great restaurants. The place was roomy with a very nice kitchen. Owner is very response and easy to work with- especially during our crazy Christmas travel.
