"We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this property. The kitchen has all the necessary items to prepare meals and the place is comfortably furnished. The pool is a great feature during a July heatwave. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We were 4 adults in the area to attend Marciac Jazz Festival and Tempo Latino Festival and the property was conveniently located for doing both."

"Wonderful spacious grand Chateau providing a perfect get together peaceful location for our multi-generation family get together of 15. Such a diversity of facilities in the locality for all ages. From Kayaking to walking or simply lazing by pool in total seclusion. Local baker made breakfast a real pleasure and family local restaurants a real highlight. Thank you for such a great welcome and sharing your fresh produce that so enhanced the quality of our meals."

"The outside of the property is lovely. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house...

"The house is excellent, so much character and history, combined with lots of space and very well equipped. Our family enjoyed all aspects of the property including the BBQ, pool and ping pong area. The location/village is very quiet and but has all the necessary facilities including some very good restaurants. Car is definitely needed in order to visit some great local towns and sites, including the Pyrenees. Wonderful time enjoying the best food and everything else the South West of France has...

Al fresco dining, cocktails by the pool, walks in the countryside, shopping at the local market and the fun of staying in an awesome house made for the most idyllic week. Thank you!"

"What isn't evident from the photos is that this gîte is made up of an older part and a new "tower" part - but that both are now to the same, modern standards. People should be aware that three of the rooms are on the three floors (inc ground) of the tower, so there are quite a few stairs which may be daunting for some. "Tout d’abord je dois dire que Joelle, la propriétaire, est charmante. Elle a expliqué à mon fils comment utiliser le four à pizza dont nous avons bien profité. La maison est très spacieuse ainsi que le jardin. Le problème principal c’est que j’avais cru louer une villa avec piscine ‘privée’ et donc j’étais prête à payer le prix.
