"We stayed at the Ash Farm guest house for two days while visiting family. Not only did they deliver in terms of service, but we had the best breakfast we’ve both ever eaten in our lives! I’m a very fussy eater, and I had zero complaints. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, and the addition of a glass of sherry upon arrival was massively appreciated by my husband! Ten out of ten, we will definitely be back :) Highly recommend a stay here."

"I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books."

"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. The only down side was someone was hammering on the front door for half an hour at 4.30am which woke us up but will definitely stay here again.
