Enjoy our very comfortable home nestled in the pines of the Winter Park Highlands in Tabernash. Relax in the private hot tub on 2 acres and take in views of the Continental Divide. After the family spends all day together, adults can lounge with a beverage by the wood fireplace upstairs, while the kids hang out and play video games or watch movies downstairs.

The house is centrally located and in a great spot for both winter and summer activities. We are just 15 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane ski areas and 10 minutes from Ski Granby Ranch, and even closer to Snow Mountain Ranch (YMCA) and Devil’s Thumb Ranch for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing and plenty of hiking/outdoor space. Lake Granby is just a 20 minute drive and, Grand Lake / Rocky Mountain National Park is 30 minutes away.

Main level:
• Living room with big windows and lots of light, furnished with comfy leather couches to read a book or watch a movie on the 32-inch LCD TV (concealed by an armoire when not is use). Furniture seats 6 adults.
• Dining room with seating for 8
• Kitchen bar with stools to seat 4
• Fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher and garbage disposal. Coffee-maker and toaster are available. All dishes, pots, glasses, silverware, paper products, etc., are included. Common spices and condiments are provided.
• Full bathroom
• Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, private full bath, dual side tables and lamps, and a large closet. The bed has a pillow top, high thread count sheets, and a down comforter.
• Second bedroom features a Queen-sized pillow-top bed with dual side tables and lamps, and an enormous closet for storage.
• Off the main level is a deck with a gas grill and outdoor seating.

Lower Level
The downstairs is like a second living area. There is a sectional sofa and large TV for movies or playing video games.
• Third bedroom has two bunk beds that sleeps four.
• 3/4 bath with shower.
• Large mudroom for stowing coats, boots and outdoor gear

We will be back every year!
This absolutely exceeded our expectations and the house is so much better in person than pictures! They truly had EVERYTHING you needed. Extra batteries, kindling and chopped wood for the fire with plenty stocked, dog bowls, and all the regular kitchen stuff you have at home (we brought a crockpot because we weren't sure but there was one!). The pellet stove kept the home toasty warm. The hot tub was amazing! But I will say you can't really see the mountains because of the trees. In the pictures it looks like a house is super close but it's actually a two story treehouse and our kids loved it! The video game selection was great as well and kept everyone entertained. The board games and puzzles were well loved and we discovered there were some pieces missing. The bedding was insanely comfortable as well. If you have little ones they had a pack and play available, as well as extra air mattresses if needed. Downstairs was a trundle bed (I think a full). We also appreciated the dryer that was separated in the mudroom that was there when you first walked in and it was large and spacious enough for all 7 of us. The views were fantastic and it was peaceful. It felt very private. We will absolutely be back! We plan to make it a tradition.

Perfect summer getaway
The house is comfortable and clean, surrounded by pines, with views of the mountains from the living room and the deck. It is a perfect summer retreat. There are hiking trails nearby and Rocky MT National Park is only 40 minutes away. Good restaurants and plenty to do in Winter Park and Fraser. Michon, the host, is wonderful! Highly recommend!

Perfect mountain getaway!
This house was perfect, just as advertised, and Michon was so responsive. We stayed for a girls getaway, and there were so many little touches that made it so easy to feel at home and relax. Great Winter getaway spot
Chose this place for its proximity between Winter Park and Granby Ranch. Honestly, didn't even need to leave. This was a great property! The Hot tub was amazing and there was more room then we knew that to do with. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home as well.

Delightful stay
My husband, our dog, and I spent nearly 2 weeks at this property. The location is outstanding! It’s a peaceful spot with lovely views and a great jumping off point for hikes and scenic drives. It’s also a quick 10 minute drive to a grocery store. The owners were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We’d happily stay here again!

Relaxing time in the mountains!
We enjoyed vacationing at this mountain home. The house was very clean and the location was perfect for hiking, fly fishing, and stargazing. There was plenty of room to spread out and we were happy that we could bring along the family dog. He enjoyed being a 'mountain dog' for a few days and getting out of the city! The hosts were very responsive and the house was stocked with all the necessities. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Annual summer Family friend trip to the mountains
We have been coming to Colorado in the summer visiting different locations each year and we loved this area. The hikes around grand lake village and shadow mountain were amazing. Location was great. They don’t advertise there is a tree house but the four kids we had there loved it. It was a great setup for two families with kids. Consider bringing a fan if you get hot at night. There was only one fan for the two adult rooms.

Amazing summer getaway
The house is located in a very nice subdivison and, surrounded by two acres of pine trees, has lots of privacy. My favorite spot was the deck with its views of the mountains, cool breezes and birdsong. But the inside of the house, with its views through huge picture windows and simple, comfortable furnishings, was inviting, too. The location--between Fraser and Winter Park to the east and Grand Lake and RMNP to the west--insures wonderful hiking, rafting, cycling and some excellent eating too. For outdoorspeople , naturalists,and those simply seeking peace, quiet and cooler temperatures, I could not recommend this place more!

First trip to Colorado
We had an incredible time on our first trip to Colorado, we skied Winter park. This property was absolutely gorgeous, as pictured and described. It’s in a private neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The kids ( teenagers) loved having the downstairs to themselves and the adults upstairs there was plenty of room and beds and nobody waited for a bathroom. The teens took a million selfies outside:) The Hot Tub ( a must in our search) was right outside and felt great after skiing. We cooked every meal at the house and even grilled the first night with great weather. We lacked nothing with regard to utensils. We ate together, watched movies, played games and made wonderful memories. Mark and Michon were very quick and responsive to all our questions and provided us help and advice We would stay definitely stay here again. Advice for new tourists, If driving, take a 4-wheel drive vehicle, anything less is not practical and scary when it snowed. Also rent your equipment way ahead of time, we booked lift tickets ahead of time but not our gear. We were surprised all equipment was rented out for Spring Break at Winter Park and surrounding towns. We got lucky Idaho Springs had equipment. It was about an hour’s drive to and from, but were grateful they had enough for a family of 5. Still had a wonderful time.
