Great place! Any hotel with the words "Brewery Pub" in it has to be good. The bar staff and desk lady were outstanding. Plus they have cool t-shirts.

We enjoyed our stay very much but the 60 odd steps up to our third floor room was tiring for a couple in their late 60's. The location was great and it was very quiet and central to our needs. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The Lord Nelson is a classic Aussie Hotel experience. A beautiful bar downstairs, that showcases their own beers and excellent pub food, and quiet and comfortable rooms upstairs. It's a quiet part of the city but also a short walk to Circular Quay, the CBD and Darling Harbour.
