It is a nice little apartment and well equipped but with a musty smell as a result of all the recent rain. The oil heater in the living area kept it warm but the bathroom and toilet are down a hallway and were quite cold. The bathroom is not suitable for older people as the shower is in a high bathtub with no handrail to get out with. It also has no screen or shower floor so the floor gets quite wet. The apartment is not equipped with a washer / drier which would be a problem for longer stays, or as in our case, if you get caught in heavy rain. The owner helpfully dried our clothes.

A great location to base yourself to explore the Royal National Park. You have everything you need. Including a well-appointed kitchen. Although the building is quite old. It’s very well maintained and has a lot of additional comforts of home. Would stay again if travelling to the area.

Everything you expect in a self contained studio. Kitchen fully equipped to cook any delights. Hosts super friendly. Quiet part of Bundeena on hilltop. Optus signal weak and fans or screens on windows for better air circulation. Overall will stay again.

Our stay at Pokorny House was great. It’s an easy distance to shops, cafes, beaches and national park. The apartment was neat and tidy s as nd had everything we needed for a fun and no-fuss weekend away. Things to improve on; flyscreens for summer months, the bed was a bit squeaky 😉 and some door hinges were creaky. We recommend Pokorny House as a cool place to stay in a great location.

Good value in a great area
A comfortable apartment close to spectacular coastal park walks, Bundeena has everything for a quiet but satisfying vacation. The apartment is ground floor of a largeish house. Parking is outside on the street. Owners have 2 dogs which generally weren't intrusive. Apartment is excellent (studio style), good kitchen, double bed, but a little dark. Outside small private garden. Paul and Jennifer friendly and helpful.

Excellent Stay in Bundeena
Our 3 day stay with at Paul's was a joy. The kitchen was especially well stocked. This was very helpful since we came in off-season and the restaurants were either closed or just open for lunch. The accommodations were very clean and the location to both the downtown and the hiking trails was excellent. We could hear the family and the dogs on occasion, but it did not impact our stay. Thanks

Homely spacious studio and convenient spot
Great studio with a well stocked kitchen and comfy couch. Everything you need is provided and it’s a short walk from the start of the coast track as well as not far at all to the beaches. Really loved staying here and will be back! Only suggestion / recommendation is the addition of a screen door.

Super quick response from the very start from Paul, the owner. We had a very relaxed and comfortable stay. There was everything we needed at the property to enjoy our weekend to the max.Thank you Paul for agreeing to the late check out. However, we left at 10am as the weather was not the best. A safe, quiet, home feel place! Loved it. Owners are amazing, place is great and the area is Devine.
Staying at Paul's and Jen's place was a very homely feel :) Massive house, lovely retreat with own courtyard to enjoy in the sun, pretty much the whole bottom of the house to yourself and with comfort features. It's a st away from the beach and a walk to the shops. Bundeena is a gorg lil hideaway I came to trust:) book here! Thanks guys

Paul was a very friendly and helpful host. The accomodation had everything we needed including a comfortable bed. The kitchen was particularly well equipped and had a good supply of necessities for cooking and beverages. Coffee was supplied, and cooking oil as well. The garden was a pretty space to relax and unwind. Highly recommended.
