The location of the property was great and overall we had a good weekend.
Unfortunately the property was let down by a few small floors that were unexpected and dissapointing. The main TV wasnt working and we reported it upon arrival. 4 days later there was still no resolution. This may sound trivial, but 4 days in a very small space, with 3 kids and terrible weather - we needed the TV!
Some other items that really let the property and our experience down were:
The small milk cups (long life) were expired by over 12 months.
The Coffee machine had coffee grounds dried inside that had been there for quiet some time and had not been cleaned out. Long enough that they couldnt be removed, the waste was solid.
One of the beds had more than half of the wooden slats collapsed and wasn't fit to sleep on.
The stairs inside (very steep) appeared dirty and needed a thorough vacuum.
The amount of infra red cameras were also a little off putting. We didn't think it necessary to have one on the top veranda off the main bedroom.
In summary, we had a good weekend and enjoyed the style and location of the house very much. Its the attention to detail that made the difference and let the property down
