"Owner very friendly. I use a walking stick and the stairs were so steep and dangerous. I didn’t realise toilet was shared and would not have booked it if I realised it could be shared with 8 people. No shower, just a bath. Church next door and clanged every half hour through the night. At 7am it rang for ages. Breakfast very nice but dinner not brilliant. Had lamb chops, just 3 very not nice chops and not cheap. "

"We had the best experience, from beginning to end. We love the spacious living areas, the outside grounds are beautiful and one can take long walks. The lake next to the house had all sorts of birds, ducks and swans. We rented bicycles for our stay at the Mansion and went riding everyday in the parks and country roads. "We stayed here for 3 weeks after flying in from the US to visit family in the nearby area. We didn't want to be in a hotel for 3 weeks as we would find that claustrophobic. This was the ideal solution. The park staff were excellent and could communicate easily in English and German if needed. It is extremely quiet here with easy access to the excellent Netherlands freeways. The indoor pool and the swimming lake were loved by my visiting grandkids. "Been here before. The price/ quality very good. Well organized, friendly. Doesn’t look too inviting when driving to the hotel but it’s fine. Very good stop over. We have rebooked for our return. Shopping center just down the road and. dry convenient for the motorway. Also nice and quiet. Thumbs up."

Gorgeous hotel with fantastic service

"Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Currently trying to find a similar matress to upgrade our bed at home. Beautiful rooms, very spacious and cozy vibe. The whole area is lovely, and we got a room with a view over large pond/small lake. Fantastic service from the staff, and incredibly friendly. We didnt get a chance to try the breakfast or dinner at the restaurant, but hoping well be able to next time we stay."

Fabulous on-site facilities

"The trip was amazing. Easy check-in. We were slightly early, however the staff accommodated us. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were absolutely fabulous. On-site facilities were out of this world, e.g. fitness centre and swimming pool. Bar was great too with service to one's table. Would definitely return. Very highly recommended."

Lovely comfortable stay

"Very pleasantly surprised as the photos on the website didn’t do this hotel justice. The grounds, decor and general standard was very high and staff all very professional. Our family room was an excellent size, with 2 bathrooms and a door between sleeping areas. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was some noise from other rooms but ear plugs solved that problem. Breakfast was simple but delicious and from service was very reasonably priced, easy to order via the app and great service."
