Staying at the Cottage in the Woods was wonderful. It was a nice retreat after hiking the Glen. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the property was inviting, the room was super cozy, and breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again!

Hosts are friendly and personable. The property is a rare combination of rustic and beautiful. The porch is a wonderful place to watch hummingbirds and relax after a hike. We’ve stayed twice and will return—a true “get away”!

Charming property and super nice hosts!
The property was gorgeous and cozy with lots of indoor and outdoor space. I got a great dinner recommendation from Claytonna and the breakfast she cooked was delicious! She was also super accommodating when I wanted to stay a couple extra hours and hang out outside my room after checkout. Located super close to the Rickett’s Glen trails, so driving over and hiking was very easy.
