"The only complaint is that we booked through expedia. We showed up to find the staff decided to leave before the times listed on their site. We had no key, no way to check in and no one would answer either phones. Finally after about an hour and having to leave to catch the last ferry so we weren't stranded on the island with no where to stay, we got a call back. "My best friend and our two boys had a duck hunt in Hyde County lined up. We needed a place to sleep and take a hot shower for the night and this place checked all the boxes. This isn’t the Hilton, but I wasn’t looking for a stay like that and didn’t want to pay that much. This house is just right for the location and the price. Everything was clean and met our expectations. Hope to see you again soon!"
