The Smokery is a two bedroom property in the heart of Swanage with lots of original features.  The master bedroom is on the ground floor, with French windows leading to an enclosed courtyard.  On the first floor is a lovely, bright living room, and the twin bedroom, both of which have vaulted ceilings. 
Swanage is a bustling town surrounded by beautiful countryside.  Enjoy stunning coastal walks, visit the many local cultural and historical sites, or just have fun on the beach!

Not a castle in the air!
Photograph misrepresents total property (omits the ground floor bedroom that is a somewhat flimsy addition). Lampshades hanging from ceiling but no switches to operate them. Didn't feel secure enough to open windows at night in this room and, generally property very easy to break into. The noise of the freezer in the kitchen disturbs sleep. But, generally well equipped and comfortable (beds etc.) Bathroom floor rather dirty; a hand rail in the shower would be useful. So overall a little disappointing because this was one of the more expensive properties that we looked at, and located in an attractive and historic part of the town.
