The mild irritant was that the breakfast menu was exactly the same every day with no variation and the television did not work and I had to draw attention to it; would have been good had they checked out the rooms to ensure that everything was in ship-shape condition"

"Very nice hotel overall. The rooms we had were a bit worn but still quite nice. The public areas were also very nice and in good repair. But where The Strand shined is the staff. Everyone from drive-up to drive away was so very nice. A special shout out to Zena, Thank You for everything. Overall we had a delightful stay and will stay again when we are back in Swakopmund."
