Nice hotel located near the palace of the old fort
First impression of the hotel was okay. The lobby had a low ceiling and the area for guests to wait is small. Thankfully we did not have to wait to get a room. The staff was helpful and friendly but was not very fluent with english.
The room has a modern look but was small and cramped, common in South Korea. The towels were small (about the size of a face towel), which is common in some of the smaller hotels. Just wished the staff washed the cups after we left the room. We stayed for 3 nights and on all 3 nights when we returned to the room, the cups were untouched and uncleaned.
The hotel is not well known so not all taxi drivers know where it is. Thankfully the location was good. It is just a 5 minute walk from the palace and fried chicken street, and less than 10 minutes away by Taxi from Suwon Station.
There is a convenience store just two shops away from the hotel.
The hotel was in a great location. It was very easy to walk to the Fortress we were visiting. It wasn't fancy but it was efficient & what I was looking for. The rooms are small compared to American standards but it fit two twin beds, had a counter for a desk, a mini fridge, & nice shower. The beds were a bit hard but I've come to expect that in Korean hotels/motels. There is a restaurant on site but it isn't operating at the moment. Front desk was very nice & spoke English well.
