Suttons Bay Village View Apartment

STAY IN THE HEART OF THE VILLAGE at HALF MOON CABIN! 2 Bedroom 1 Bath open floor plan overlooking the Village of Suttons Bay; walking distance to the beach (1 block), restaurants, shopping and recreation (tennis and bike trails). Amenities include WiFi and cable tv. Two bedrooms: one with Queen bed, one with twin beds. One bath with tub/shower combination. Updated fully equipped kitchen. Half Moon cabin has access to the coin laundry area in the building also. This unit is next door to The Loft #2227882 which is in the same building and next door to Cabin in the Village #2227776, take them all to accommodate a large group. This apartment has sleeping for 4 but we will allow up to 6 guests in here upon approval. Guests will need to bring an airbed to accommodate the 5th and 6th guests. Walk out your door and down the steps and you are on the sidewalks of downtown Suttons Bay, excellent shopping and restaurants just steps away. Movie theater and ice cream right there too! Guests love to walk down to the Suttons Bay Marina and rent kayaks or bikes. Tart trail (paved bike trail over 30 miles worth) is right there for you. Gorgeous sand beach with playground and all pet friendly.
Within steps of the park with tennis and basketball, right next door! Within 2 blocks of Suttons Bay marina and park and gorgeous sand beach with kayak rentals! If you wish to bring your boat you can rent a slip at the marina and be only a block away from your boat.
Main floor has a full kitchen with dining set. Living room with windows such as the “half moon” window, over looking “the strip” of Suttons Bay downtown.
Cute outdoor patio for dining out elevated adjacent to this rental, enjoy a glass of wine from one of the 12 local wineries or enjoy some food from some of the many local restaurants just steps away.
WIFI and air conditioning! Pets are welcome for a fee. Linens included and laundered on high heat, bring your own paper products.
This rental is just 4 miles away from Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms golf course and 15 miles away from Manitou Passage golf course in Cedar MI.
In back of the cabins there is a park with tennis and basketball. Don't forget your rackets and ball!
Extreme care is taken when cleaning the property and surrounding area. Additional deep cleaning is conducted to commonly touched surfaces, and precautions are taken to ensure your health and safety.

Great location and very clean!!
We enjoyed being able to walk downstairs and be right downtown! It was a little difficult to locate at first, but we figured it out! Property was very clean and well kept! The bathroom was a little small and tub could use some work, but those are the only “negatives” I can think of. Overall a great place!!

Ideal for extended stay
The apartment is totally equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay on the peninsula; a dedicated parking spot, a coin laundry room, and plenty of space to relax in the living room. A great location in a beautiful town.

Great property! The location is perfect for close proximity to town and a short walk to the beach. On site parking spot is a bonus. Highly recommend Half Moon. We will be back.

We loved it!
My wife and our little Frenchie stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. It was awesome to be right in the heart of downtown Suttons Bay and watch it wake up and go back to sleep. We wish we had discovered the attic fan switch earlier because at night, when we opened the bedroom door and had that on, the bedroom cooled so fast! The back bedroom stayed a little warmer than the main room so a fan would be a good thing to pack.

The perfect Sutton’s Bay Stay
We’ve been coming to Leelanau and Sutton’s Bay for the past 8 years and just love it up here. Carol’s VRBO was fantastic. Very clean and lots of space for our family of 3. We loved the location, being able to so easily walk everywhere in town for a bite to eat, glass of wine or a day at the lake! We were so grateful we were able to bring our dog, too. It was a perfect first vacation with our 6-month-old! Thank you, Carol!

Excellent Location for Attending a Wedding
We enjoyed our stay quite a bit. The location is perfect. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach when we had down time from the wedding we were attending in the area. The property was clean and we really liked people watching out of the front windows in the mornings! The only suggestion I would have is to provide a full sized ironing board. A small ironing board was available but it was hard to iron our wedding attire on it.

Great Weekend Getaway
Half Moon was a very nice, clean and quiet apartment above The Happy Woman Store. Well stocked with dishes, coffee maker, paper towels....etc. We enjoyed biking the Leenlanau Trail to Traverse City as well as a trip to Empire to bike the Heritage Trail through Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also enjoyed the many restaurants in town. Bonus was the Jazz Festival in the park on Saturday evening. Weather was perfect which made for a great weekend. Overall is was the perfect place to stay in Suttons Bay. Hope to come back again.

PERFECT !
What a perfect apartment! The unit is accurately described in the listing; it is even prettier and more spacious than the photos show. It is one of the cleanest units we have ever stayed in. The windows are very clean! The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. Carol was very easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We loved our stay and certainly will stay again.

Spacious but smelly!
I'm highly allergic to cats so this space was not for me. I could smell cat urine from the moment I walked in and started to sneeze and itch! I really struggled through our 3 night stay and was happy to leave. Overall cleanliness could use much improvement. Sleeping was also a challenge because the window's only had shears on them. We had to put a bunch of sheets and towels in the window's so it would be dark enough to sleep. Simple room darkening shades could easily change that problem. On the positive side the space was spacious and located right on the Main Street. It was nice to be able to walk right out your door and not need to drive to anything. My suggestion is to look elsewhere if you or your children have allergies. I feel bad about not leaving a more positive review but I think it could be dangerous if you have an elderly person or baby with allergies to stay in the apartment.

An up north marvelous time enjoying the city of Suttons Bay from the rental views. The living room is round so you can see all Suttons Bay from inside. Awesome. All amenities are excellent. and
