"Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France. Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town. "

"We just needed somewhere for an overnight stop on our journey by train from Spain to the UK (Eurostar via Paris). The 25 minute walk from and to the station was fine. Found a nice restaurant nearby for dinner. Nice location by the river. A bit confusing being called both the Miradour and the Ibis. Not quite sure what's going on there!"

"A bit outdated but otherwise great place to stay: one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on, spacious room, big soft towels and friendly staff. Highly recommend!"

"This is a great hotel if you are travelling to or from Spain as it is in a quiet area with easy access to the main route. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and large beds. Bathrooms have bath as well as shower and excellent hot water and also complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. Breakfast was very good and the room was very pleasant. "Tres joli logement ! Le jardin est arboré, il y a 2 terrasses : une devant le logement avec une table et une excentrée avec des transats (permet de s’isoler, sous les bambous … très sympa). Piscine plus grande que je ne pensais !! L’emplacement est calme, en pleine campagne et à 50 mn des différents sites du pays basque. Le salon est spacieux, cuisine bien équipée Chambres très sympas, douche agréable A noter : l’escalier est raide L’accueil est très amical Je recommande "

Beautiful countryside, 5 min walk from all amenities

Wonderful Stay

"We had a terrific stay at Ken and Shona's rental. The house was full of character, very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen in a quiet and scenic neighbourhood. As cyclists, it was a great spot to launch a bike ride from with countless quiet backroads that were picturesque beyond belief. The house was close to all amenities and it was easy to busier roads/highways to travel to other towns and cities such as Pau, Bayonne etc. The pet donkeys were a special treat and we looked forward to seeing them in the mornings while drinking our coffee in the backyard. Shona and Ken were incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We would highly recommend this house!"

Great gîte

"Thank you Alain for a wonderful stay in your beautiful gîte. We loved the farm festival you took us to and you have made us feel very welcome! The gîte is lovely and comfortable, very well equipped. The views are stunning. One point to note: the pool is shared with another gîte, not private. The region is beautiful, lots to do around the gîte "
