Across The Street From The Beach, Private Beach & Pool Access, Fantastic Views

Up On The Roof, located at 161 Ocean Blvd East, is part of a beach community, Seaside at Winding River. This provides private beach access, private pool and beach clubhouse, all immediately across the street from the house. Renters will be provided with access passes for use of the pool and beach, and will have access to the marina on the Inter-coastal Waterway.

The house was built in 2003 with the desirable inverted floor plan to maximize views of the ocean with a total living space of 2300 sq ft. Renovations completed 2022 included expansion of the upstairs bedroom and an additional bathroom to create a second master bedroom. Additional upgrades were done- all interior rooms were repainted and the exterior was repainted, new floors and carpeting were installed, new back staircase was added, and new windows and exterior doors installed.
First Floor: Master Bedroom- King Bed, TV, bathroom with shower. 2nd Bedroom: Queen Bed, TV, shared Bathroom. 3rd Bedroom 2 sets of Pyramid Bunks (Twin over Full), TV. Sitting area with TV, great for kids with game systems. Front and back porches, with porch swing and rocking chairs.
2nd Floor: Living Room with flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, and Stereo, large sectional couch, 2 chairs, table and 4 chairs in alcove which overlooks the ocean! Large kitchen area with 4 bar stools. Dining table seats 10. Newly renovated Half Bath. 4th Bedroom with King size bed and new private full bathroom. Front and back porches provide great views of the beach and ocean - great place to hang out and enjoy a cocktail in the late afternoon. Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking necessities. Rooftop deck: Great for views of the sunrise and sunset, a great place to hangout after the beach, or enjoy the evening under the stars. 8 lovely composite Adirondack chairs and small cocktail table.
Ground floor: Plenty of parking, private outdoor shower, and storage, Gas and Charcoal grills, corn hole and ping pong, and 8 beach chairs and many sand toys for children.Large yard is nicely landscaped.

This house is in an ideal location to walk just about everyplace on the island. Only a short walk to the restaurants on the island, as well as the free concerts, the Ice Cream shop, coffee shop, rental shop and Candy store.

Besides having the beach and ocean, golf is only minutes away to Lockwood Folly and Carolina National golf courses. Boat rentals and charters are available and some of the finest fishing in the east coast.

Great House near beach
Great house with lots of stairs, beds are nice. The small mini fridge was great for our drink cold storage. The air condition, washer/dryer was great. Overall great home to stay at.

Wonderful Views - Beautiful Beach
My family and in-laws had a great stay at Up On the Roof. The house was as advertised, clean, with close proximity to to the beach. The 3rd floor entertainment space has great views of the ocean as does the roof top seating area and decks. The property owner was very responsive and kind. A+

Great beach house
Up on the Roof is a wonderful place to stay in Holden Beach. There is plenty of room inside and out. The kitchen is well stocked; the beds are comfortable and the view is amazing. I would definitely rent this home again.

We had a magical time while at Holden Beach. We were able to let go and have fun because it felt like we were at home with the house Up on the Roof being ready to take in a family. We did not need anything! We didn't have to leave to make trips to the store to get something to make something. We only needed to bring ourselves and clothes. We went shopping for food once when we got there. The shopping for the teens was perfect. The shells were awesome. We made many memories here. Thank you so much for sharing your house with our family. We look forward tk future stays!

What a gem of beach home. Beautifully decorated and well taken care of. Kitchen is fully stocked. Lots of family games. Our family enjoyed ping pong tournaments in the evenings. Oh the view! You’ll never forget this house. Thanks to Wendy and Marc for being wonderful hosts!!!!

“Up on the Roof” Is a beautiful home. It is exactly as described and even better than our expectations. It is across the street from the ocean but it feels and sounds like you’re right on the water. We absolutely loved this property! Large enough but also cozy enough! Had everything we needed and was conveniently right across from private beach access. The roof top views are amazing. I highly recommend and we will be back! I just love Holden.

Great Family Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Up On The Roof. It was a beautiful home in a great location. We loved the spacious living areas, especially the dining area which allowed our family to sit down and eat together. Easy access to the pool and beach areas were also a plus. And of course the views from the roof were amazing!

None Better in Holden Beach !
This property is perfectly located in Holden Beach - great view of the ocean from the 2nd row, beach access is directly across from the property, the beach clubhouse and pool are directly across the street. The home itself is pristine with an open floor plan and the owners are great to work with.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. The house was incredibly clean and well stocked. The owners are great and very helpful. The layout of the house works well for families with kids. There are multiple decks, an extra living space, and a great yard for the kids to play. The roof deck is amazing, and a great spot to watch the sunset.

Wonderful Family Vacation Home
We absolutely loved Up on the Roof! The rooftop was our favorite place to watch the sunset over the bridge and see the moon rise over the ocean. Wendy and Marc were super helpful and answered any questions we had before and during our stay. You are truly getting an ocean front home for the price of a second row home.
