"Sometimes we seek adventure vacations and sometimes we seek rest. It was rest and peace we were seeking, and "Seadated" and its owner, Chad, didn't disappoint. The lovely cottage, with room for a big family, was perfectly cozy for two and spotlessly clean! Best of all, it was only a stone's throw from the ocean, perfect for accessing the beach for sunrise walks, shell seeking, and sunset toasts or just sitting inside staring at the waves and listening to the surf. The amenities and special touches felt like gifts from a friend. The kitchen was lovely to cook in when we weren't going out to eat at some of the yummy restaurants recommended by Chad. The beds were comfy, the kitchen table by the window was a perfect place to eat or work a puzzle. The comfy couch and 2 swivel chairs by the windows were the idea places to read, watch for dolphins, chat, or take a little snooze by the fireplace. I especially enjoyed rolling out of bed, making coffee in the bedroom Keurig, and bundling up on the master deck, overlooking the ocean, waiting for the sun. We talked to Chad several times during our stay, who was ALWAYS helpful, resourceful, kind, and timely! We now refer to him as our new friend. We left refreshed and rejuvenated, and can't wait for next NEXT year for TWO weeks! "

"Perfect cottage for 2 and our two dogs. Everything we needed was on-site and the cottage was beautifully painted and decorated like a little island get away. The backyard was fully fenced and accessed from the cottage back door and worked well for our two dogs.Holden Beach was a few minutes drive over the bridge. We were there during a cold winter spell but still fully enjoyed the sunnier days walking the beach or riding our bikes on the bike trail. The owners are superfriendly and accomodating. There was plenty of room for both of our vehicles, a truck and an SUV. The cottage is set back from the road so it was nice and quiet. There was one place open nearby, a little diner named Archibald's that had very friendly service open Thursday through Monday. There is a Dollar Store , Walgreens and a Food Lion very nearby as well. We had a wonderful relaxing and peaceful visit and were sorry to leave our quiet retreat."

"This tiny home has so much character!! Spent a long weekend here with my 13 year old son and our beloved dog. We loved the home, the beach, and the area. The house is small and cozy. It’s adjacent to the public beach parking giving easy access. This house is not on stilts so you can not see the ocean from the back porch. The ladder to the loft area is cumbersome but worth it! Absolutely charming!!"

"This was a family trip with different family members in and out of the house at different times. The house was perfect for this. The balconies off of the upstairs bedrooms were loved by all who were in those rooms. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed to cook and the eating area accommodated us all. We loved having access to bikes to ride and games/puzzles to enjoy anytime. I noticed that there were very few public beach access areas on the island but thankfully there was one within a short walking distance to the house, definitely a big plus. One of the favorites of everyone was watching the deer out back early morning and/or early evening. I communicated several times (before arriving at the house) with the owners and they always responded in a timely manner. I have no reservations about rating this as a great place to stay!!!"
