Average all round - facilities not terribly well maintained, pool gates locked, bbq tray overflowing with water and fat residue. Beds were like cardboard and I have spent a week in physio for my shoulder because of them. Double headed shower seemed impressive, but neither worked properly.
Our daughter enjoyed the pool and slide, but I did feel it was a bit over priced for the condition of the property. Kitchen facilities were good - but the general feel of the place is a bit worn.
Once a wonderful quiet oasis in the rainforest, it is now a has-been. Nothing has been maintained and it seems like the park is being sold off bit by bit to the adjacent retirement village. Sad.
It’s no surprise that it has lost its big4 status.

Loved the pool, the jumping pillow and the playground.
There is a mini putt putt course that doesnt look like its been used for years and there was a games room that needed coins to operate anything.
We were given a sheet when we entered to let is know what we could do while were there (last week of school holidays) it said there was a kids club but when we enquired we were advised it hadnt run since christmas. So i just thought it would have been easier to either cross it out? Or let people know that its not available, rather then people walk around the whole grounds looking for it?
Overall the kids enjoyed themselves and the campsites were clean
Our family had the best time here, so many activities for our kids to do and they loved the waterslide and swimming pool. The Tibetan restaurant on site was amazing. The property was a little run down but we still had a comfortable stay and the staff were all friendly.

The pool was great there was a variety of other activties for the kids to do loved the hinterland side of things only the matress wasnt the best in our room but its nothing thats going to stop me n my family from returning in the future!
Very old and rundown. Cabin was a disgrace - needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I’ll equipped kitchen, no proper oven and microwave positioned at an unsafe height. Kids bunk beds were too noisy to sleep on, lounge and all chairs were very uncomfortable. Over priced. Staff are very gruff and miserable. The place needs new life and fresh blood.
Lots to do for the kids including jumping pillow, putt putt, tennis, playground, disco, movies, etc. Didn't get a chance to try the pool with a waterslide but it looked great. Central location to go to Eummundi markets and Australia Zoo. Cabins were awesome. Recommend!!

The children loved watching the feeding of the rainbow lorikeets.
Close to all tourist venues, room was clean and comfortable. Kids enjoyed the outdoor activities - pool, jumping mat etc. Highway noise couldn't be heard.
My wife and i drove 3 hours to check into a villa which was located as far away from amenities as possible. The grass at the back of the villa was knee high with a mound of compost waist high near the patio area. The bed had sunkin in the middle and was not suitable for sleeping. The photos online looked nothing like our accomodation and were deceaving. I proceeded to put our luggage back in the car and went to reception to ask for an upgrade. Spoke with the receptionist and i said we arent happy with the villa. She stared blankly at me and no upgrade or refund was offered. We did not stay and checked out 20 minutes after arriving. I will never return to Big 4 Forest glen and will be sure everyone i know steers clear as well.

Family weekend in a family villa
Good local that is hidden away. Kids lie the cinemas, cool and jumpy pillow. A bit old and tired however would cost a lot for not much upside I guess. staff we're great will stay again.
I had tickets for my kids birthdays to Australia zoo but the whole time we were there my kids were asking about all the exciting activities back at the resort.
Great facilities, friendly staff, clean and tidy cabins. Laid back and relaxing.
