Cuddle Cottage Montville

Romantic getaway for 2 set on 8.5 acres just 1 klm from Montville Village. (Babies and Toddlers are welcome. We supply a porta cot, linen, high chair and security gating upon request at no extra charge.)

Cuddle Cottage is set back off the road which adds to the tranquility.

House yard and gardens,with King Parrots and Rosella's visiting daily. In the evening you may be lucky enough to see our resident Tawny Frog Mouths.

We have large French Provincial pergola which makes a lovely home dining option. Cuddle Cottage has a large fire pit that is also a Teppanyaki BBQ and a Webber Q is also supplied.

We also have Croquet and Bocce sets for you to amuse yourself out on our lawn.

Inside the Cottage is a good size kitchen with gas stove top, microwave and Bakers Oven/fire heater. We supply pantry items to make your stay more comfortable.

The lounge has a lovely sofa, chase lounge, dining table, TV and a electric fire place. This fire place allows you to have the full ambience of a wood fire but with the added bonus that it can be used in the warmer months with out heat if desired.

The bathroom is on the ground level, consisting of a toilet and shower. (no bath or spa)

Upstairs is the bedroom with king bed, writing desk, side tables, occasional tables and chairs, very large built in wardrobe and TV/DVD. This beautifully decorated bedroom is very roomy with lovely views over the property.

With Cuddle Cottage being situated on Western Ave just 1klm from Montville Village, you have so many attractions right at your front door. Flame Hill Winery, Secrets on the Lake and Baroon Pocket Dam are all just down the Road. The award winning restaurant "The Long Apron" at Spicers Cloverly is 2lkms away. Other wonderful restaurants like Wild Rocket at Mistys or Altitude both in Montville Village, will offer you free taxi service to and from Cuddle Cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage set in a private, peaceful garden overlooking forest and mountains. The cottage had everything we wanted for a self sufficient holiday. Close to nature and tourist attractions. Clean and comfortable and any messages to the owner were answered promptly.

This was an amazing stay. The cottage suited us perfectly for a quiet time to relax and invigorate. The owner has seen to everything in detail, the extra touches are so thoughtful. The location was perfect for us, with quiet and privacy in a magnificent garden, yet not isolated as the main strip of Montville is merely a 5-minute drive away. With a grocery store, eateries and restaurants. We will definitely go back there! 5 star plus!!

Cozy getaway for our 10-year wedding anniversary
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the sound of glorious birds. While there are neighbouring properties it feels so tranquil and private. The cottage is quaint and clean and all you need. The bed is hotel quality, so crisp and clean. We loved the outdoor area, the teppanyaki fire pit, what a gem, this gave us this outdoor living experience along with delicious dinners. We have already rebooked for a stay in November. There is so much to do in this beautiful community, our day trips were filled with activity and fun and our nights with relaxation and calm. Thank you Christine for the hospitality on behalf of my husband and I. You have a beautiful cottage that you have opened up and I hope every loves and respects it like us. Thank you kindly. The only company was the birdlife
If you like to sit in a garden swing chair, surrounded by the calming nature of a forest and hear the tingling of birdsong, this cottage is for you. Relaxing, serene and ultra comfortable, the cottage with its shabby chic decor and hygge detailing was top of my list 4 a good reason Close to Montville but far away enough to feel you are away from city life. Fabulous extra touches, like complimentary avocados in the fridge and a super comfy loft bed looking out to the forest made it more enjoyable. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Christine has thought of every comfort you might need and delivered! Simple touches like having salt and pepper or margarine, so you don’t need to buy these things, so simple yet so appreciated. It was a shame we didn’t have time to use the teppanyaki grill.. we will just have to visit again!

Cuddle cottage ticked all the boxes! We had an amazing weekend. Christine was a wonderful host, excellent communication and extremely accomodating. It was so relaxing watching the sun set over the picturesque country side. My husband grew up on a farm and having the wood fire oven reminded him of his childhood. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen and was warm and cosy ... It was all the little touches that made our stay extra special! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Romantic Getaway
Cuddle Cottage Montville was all it claimed to be and more, perfect setting, quiet, spotlessly clean, cute, amazing romantic bedroom. I have traveled extensively in Australia and overseas, but Cuddle Cottage has been so well thought out and the extras that Christine supplied in the kitchen and through out the cottage was amazing and appreciated so much. This cottage is presented with a great deal of Love and thought. I am spreading the word to all my friends and family and hope that I will have the opportunity to make a return visit. Kerith

Cuddle Cottage has been a beautiful experience for us. We especially loved the gorgeous bird life and lush, varied nature surrounds. The bed in the pretty, romantic bedroom was super comfy and - although the cute little bathroom ( downstairs ) is very small, there is plenty of carpeted space to spread out, with towel rails and extra batg mats available. Christine has provided an amazing array of condiments and lovely little extras...truly beyond anything we have seen before! This has been a break away of immense value in every way! T and B Reid

We can live here!
My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights as a post birthday celebration for her, the moment I made contact with Christine she was very responsive. The place is more than what we expect for the price we pay. It was perfect for us. The place is very clean, and the attention to details like a portable light, the herb and spices is something we appreciate (i love to cook). We love the outdoor multi purpose firepit/tepanyaki bbq, we fired it up and watch the sunset and dine under the moonlight. We highly recommend this place to anyone who are looking for a quiet nice little place to stay. We certainly went home feeling re-charge and the take home avocados were a bonus! Definitely going back!

Perfect Getaway
My wife and I just had a long weekend at Cuddle Cottage and will definitely be back. Beautiful cottage, very well presented and everything in it that you need for the weekend. From the minute we arrived and were met by the welcoming committee, 3 chickens, we felt totally relaxed. Very close to the main street of Montville and with a winery in the same street there is plenty to do or if you like nothing to do. Afternoons were spent lazing in the sun on the bean bags with a glass of wine while listening to the bird life. Christine is a pleasure to deal with and will go out of her way to ensure your stay is memorable. Recommend highly if you are looking for an escape to recharge the batteries. Gary

Charming & picturesque cottage set in an excellent location.
Christine & David are a lovely couple, who have obviously put a lot of thought, time and love into the property, and this is evident as soon as you arrive. The cottage itself is charming and is set in a perfect location for anyone who likes peace, tranquility and privacy. It was lovely to hear the birds, and if you’re lucky enough you may even get to meet “Cookie” the kookaburra, who is very inquisitive (especially when there is food about). The cottage was in pristine condition, as well as the grounds it was located on. The cottage had everything you could ever need…and more. Christine certainley pays attention to detail. Montville itself is a beautiful tourist town with plenty of shops, I would recommend walking, as it can be busy during the day. It will only take you 10 minutes by foot and it is worth a visit. Beaches are only a 35 minute drive away. If you like walking and visiting National Parks, there are plenty around and there is plenty of information on things to do at the Tourist Information Centre in Montville. The volunteers there are very kind, helpful and informative. I would highly recommend Cuddle Cottage to anybody thinking of visiting The Sunshine Coast area. I’m glad that we chose this area and property for our first vacation to Australia, it certainly made for happy memories. I know that if we did not live so far away that we would definitely return. Christine is a delightful host, and nothing was too much trouble for her and she was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She would always get back to me with any questions that I had, despite the 10 hour time difference. Thank you Christine & David for sharing Cuddle Cottage with us and for being such great hosts. Set just down the hill from Montville village, this cute cottage is well-located with a lovely view over the forests to the west of the range. The gazebo offers lovely shade in the middle of the day and has spectacular views of sunsets. There are several other garden tables and chairs for a slightly different view for each cup of tea, coffee or your favourite beverage. There's lots to do in the area. We'd highly recommend the Maleny Botatanic Gardens and Bird World as well as a browse through the shops at Montville and Maleny. The bed is comfortable and the blankets warm. The kitchen is well-stocked, both with cutlery, crockery and has lots of the little things you always forget to take in the pantry. Thanks for making our stay so relaxing!
