"We had a great experience; the room is small but just right because there is so much to do in the area that you only need to be there to sleep. You can hike up to the castles and walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, and wine houses. Christian was very helpful and kind, and we hope to come back again and again!"

"It’s a nice place but not as cozy as we would have liked. It could use some area rugs and comfortable seating. Appreciated the extra blankets as it was cold. We were provided 1.5 small rolls of toilet paper and ran out during our two day stay. Also the 15 euro charge for sheets and towels was exorbitant considering the towels were rough and cheap. For that price would have loved nice fluffy towels and high thread count sheets. "

"Brigitte and Christian were incredible hosts! They went above and beyond for us in evry way. We had travel troubles and they stayed up to give us a ride from the bus station in the middle of the night. It was absolutely incredible Thank you so much!"

"A quiet, clean, warm and spacious property with everything you need in an attractive location. Instant and easy access to local walking and cycling as well visiting the Rhine, Freiburgh and the Schlossberg. Very helpful hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"We loved staying in Andrea and Rolf’s apartment. They were so friendly before and during our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The garden was amazing, such a great space for enjoying the pool and outside dining area. We found the location fine for travelling to the beautiful Black Forest sights and attractions."

"L’appartement est très spacieux et suffisant pour 8 personnes mais non équipé pour 8. Et le gros gros problème c’est le chauffage qui ne permet pas de réchauffer l’appartement. Sur tout ça on rajoute des velux qui ne ferme pas et du coup on a froid tout le week-end. "

We loved that it was in centre of town with a quaint little bar just steps away where we could get a cappuccino in the morning and an aperitif in the evening The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. "Property was spotless when we walked in. It was more basic than English holiday cottages we've stayed in. The biggest problem was the kitchen and lack of cooking equipment such as enough chopping boards and no washing up bowl. We loved the terrace and had memorable times watching the storks. In the description the large spiral staircase to access the front door should be shown and highlighted as a possible challenge for less able visitors. The owners were always friendly when we saw them. We...

"The property was fit for purpose. We used it just to have a place to sleep and visit Freiburg and surroundings. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 2 people and their luggage (2 had fairly sizeable suitcases, since we were spending 3 weeks in Europe)."

"This property is beautiful. We had a comfortable king bed and the bathroom was huge and moderm. Love that they provide robes and slippers. On the website the pictures are the main hotel. Our room was across the street (Diana Collection) which we were surprised why we are not in the main hotel. I was told they have 3 building. I wish I knew that they have 3 buildings because I would have requested to be in the main hotel. Where the reception, lobby, bar etc are located. I have to acknowledge the staff who are very helpful, friendly, accommodating in every possible way. The location of the hotel is 15 min from the Colmar train station. It is right by Petite Venice and old town. Tons on restaurants in the area and souvenir shops. Everything is walking distance. I recommend this hotel and would love to come back. Stayed 2 nites. "

Perfect location

"The hotel is in the perfect location - near to the train station and the city centre. Our room was a good size, bed was comfy, and there was a kettle for making tea and coffee, which was great. The only downside to our trip was the swimming pool and sauna were closed for renovations...and we had booked the hotel especially to use those facilities. "
