"Decided to treat myself to an overnight stay in The Empire and what a fabulous experience. I was upgraded on arrival and had a fabulous room with a large bathtub and sea views. The room was very comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Sitting by the pool was a beautiful experience but remember to bring bug spray! Breakfast was fantastic and overall the experience was just wonderful. "

"I like it that they have free parking for guests. Rooms are generally clean and neat. Most importantly, the bathrooms provide good privacy - no glass panels between bathroom and bedroom, and doors can be locked perfectly well. "

"While the hotel is already run down, house keeping services were good to compliment our stay. The smell of the room was damp as if it was not occupied by customer quite a while. I had to spray some air freshener before I could breath comfortably. Breakfast spread could be much better with more variety of food to keep up with the 'resort' standard."

"Airport shuttle was excellent. Connected to a mall and very near to airport. Very good for transit. If the hotel lobby is upgraded to new furniture it will be better."
