"We so appreciated being right on the water and enjoyed the view from each room in the house! The sunsets were magnificent! The owner was available and responsive to the couple of questions we had. We cooked our meals and the kitchen had all that we needed. The hot tub and sauna were enjoyed at the end of each day for a relaxing moment. The house is approximately 45 minutes into the center of Bergen and a beautiful ride. We wanted our first trip to Norway to be authentic and the best way we found...

"I stayed here with my family (2 adult couples, 1 10 year old) in late September. We got lucky with great weather. The house got a lot of sun - we made good use of the window shades! - and we soaked it up on the deck. Several of us enjoyed a dip in the fjord and a soak in the hot tub afterwards. We rented a boat from the hotel next door one day, and went hiking another day. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature, and had everything we needed. "

"The house is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The host was available easily and answered all questions in a timely manner. We loved walking to see the animals up the road and sitting out back watching the water. Definitely a 10/10!! A few notes: If you want dinner or drinks at the hotel up the road, call to see if you can reserve a table as they typically only serve hotel guests.
