The quiet location is right near the Elkhorn Golf Club, with a very easy two mile walk to the Sun Valley Elkhorn Association. Dollar Mountain is less than a half mile away, while Bald Mountain is less than nine miles from your door! The region enjoys 250 days of sun a year, even in winter, so guests can ski to their heart's content.

Like many mountain homes, this home does not have air conditioning.
*Community amenities are provided by Elkhorn in Sun Valley and have periods of closure. No pools from Labor Day until Memorial Day. Hot tubs and saunas are closed seasonally for maintenance, they will be closed after Labor Day until after Thanksgiving, then in the spring when the mountain closes for skiing in April through Memorial Day. Golf and tennis are closed from November 1 through May 1, this is weather dependent and could be extended or shortened at the discretion of the association with/without cause or notice.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect location in Sun Valley
Family had a great time there. A few things that could be improved on… no extra garbage bags, chairs need new felt pads or floor will get terribly scratched, no broom or dustpan to sweep up, carpets really need cleaning. The place was comfortable, quiet and had all the cooking Pots, pans, utensils you need. WOULD RECOMMEND AND WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK.

New Years Trip
We had an excellent experience at the Legends - Simply Perfect Elkhorn Retreat! We had everything we needed and the unit was spacious for four couples. It was a great location with easy access to the shuttle to take you anywhere. The host was also very accommodating during check in/check out. We would definitely consider this place for our next trip to Sun Valley!

Our best stay ever!
We take our family vacation in Sun Valley every summer. This property was the best place we have rented over the years. everyone has their own bedroom and bath ~even nice little patios aside the downstairs bedrooms. Very nice living area and patio on the first floor. The kitchen is well supplied with everything a cook could possibly need. the condo is located very close to the Village pool. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Nice home!
Right on the fairway of the 8th hole of the Ellhorn golf course. Great deck, big spacious living area. Kitchen is well provisioned if you like to cook. Some of the equipment is a bit dated and house was a little hard to keep clean (why no vacuum cleaner easily accessible?$

Overall wonderful stay!!
We were a group of 4 couple staying for a long ski weekend. The home is about 10/15 minutes away from Bald Mountain. It was beautifully decorated and adequately stocked with all the necessities. The location was perfect, close to town and the mountain. We all loved it as a touch base and hang out spot after skiing. Giving 4 stars only because all of us had a hard time with the mattresses and found that there wasn’t enough pillows on the beds. We found extras in the closet, but no pillow cases. Also the master fireplace didn’t work which was a little disappointing (or we couldn’t figure it out but no instructions other than location of switch). Only other issue was parking. Only room for 3 cars, but garage was too short for 2 of our cars. And with 8 adults driving in with ski gear, was hard to car pool. Had to park two cars else where and drive to grab them. These are obviously very nitpicky and definitely not deal breakers. Just some feedback in case anyone cares! :)

Family vacation
This is an updated townhouse. The floorplan worked very well for our group of eight. It was nice to have the garage to store bicycles. There is a large deck overlooking the golf course. the kitchen is very practical for family meals. the location is very good for accessing the amenities.

College Friends Mini-Reunion and Fall Get-Away
This spot was ideal for a group of seven college friends to meet for a mini-reunion. The spacious living room offered a perfect space for early morning coffees and late evening dinners and discussions. The deck was an amazing spot for star gazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the place. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The kitchen was well-appointed for cooking meals and the beds were all very comfortable. We did have one issue with lights in the basement bedrooms: they did not work upon arrival and by the middle of the night, all the power went off while we were sleeping. I did contact VRBO, Vacasa, and Elkhorn Management and by mid-morning power was restored everywhere but one downstairs bedroom. Unfortunately, those occupants did spend two days in the dark.....(: We all hope the problem is resolved for future safety issues! Other than that, our stay was perfectly lovely and this condo is nicely located for visiting nearby towns and hiking trails (October visit). Nice and quiet for sleeping, too. Thanks for sharing this spot!

Clean spacious beautiful home!
This place was clean and cozy, updated, comfortable. Fireplace on when we arrived and everything was in great shape. Both showers in the basement rooms were awesome. The rooms were large and we had everything we needed in the fabulous kitchen. We will definitely stay here again!

Winter wonderland
We had a great time during our stay. I would totally recommend staying here during the winter season. My only suggestion would be that there be a few board games to have so that the evenings could be spent with family and friends around the table.

Vacasa Very Unreliable
1. Refrigerator not working when we arrived. Called the phone number for the property (Vacasa) and they said they would get someone locally to contact us about it. No one ever called back. 2. We left a ski jacket on one of the beds. Called Vacasa about it and they said they would check on it asap but the charge would be $25. No one ever called us back. So after multiple phone calls over 4-5 days they admitted they "mis-coded" it so no one checked. When they finally did follow-up with us about 5 days later they said it wasn't there. I wrote a nice letter to the CEO in Portland and he never responded (after waiting about a month). Bottom-line is the property is ok, but Vacasa management is very poor.

Ski Vacation
The place was really great for a family. Great kitchen and living room areas. Spacious and well located. However, it was odd that the master bedroom was in the lower level and could have accommodated a King bed. Mattress was hard. We loved having heated floors in master bath. There was no Kleenex anywhere. We were also disappointed with the heating system which did not heat one of the upper bedrooms at all and overheated the lower level bedrooms. Also, there was no contact with management to welcome us and offer any assistance or provide info on garbage pickup etc etc.. All and all we had a wonderful time and would consider renting this unit again.
