FLAMINGO COTTAGE UNIT #1

The Flamingo Cottage is a studio unit that includes a Queen-sized bed in the bedroom area, a full kitchen, bathroom with a walk-in shower, living area with a sofa, TV, table with 4 chairs and some outdoor space in front of the unit with a table and two chairs. It can comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. The unit is air conditioned and WiFi service is available throughout the resort. Enjoy the communal outdoor pool and covered patio that has a gas grill, griddle and picnic area.

For those who would like to venture out to the beach, the unit comes with 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler and beach towels for your convenience.

Guest may request to have a dog, (1 dog of 40 pounds or less) accompany them on their vacation and will be required to sign and abide by a pet occupancy agreement as well as pay $75 in additional cleaning fees for the in-depth cleaning required after a dog has stayed in the unit. Guests that bring a dog that has not been pre-approved by management or do not follow resort rules will be asked to leave the resort and forfeit all payments.

Our property manager is on the property on a daily basis and is available to answer guests questions or address concerns. She is quite knowledgeable about the Keys, and can recommend great excursions and restaurants.

Fishing adventures, bird watching, water sports or some down time relaxing in nature and the beauty of the most desired key in Florida. We’re twenty-five miles to Key West for dinner and nightlike or walk down the block to the local tiki bar, Tonio’s.

We have plenty of space for your boat and trailer. There is a boat ramp just down the block at Tonio's that can handle flat boats 21' or smaller and the boat ramps at Cudjoe Gardens Marina (477 Drost Ave.) and Little Torch Key (SR 4A & County Road) can handle larger boats for a minimal fee.

We’re located twenty-five miles from Key West for dinner and nightlife. Walk 2 minutes down the block to Tonio's Seafood Shack & Tiki Bar. Bahia Honda State Park, with its beautiful beaches, is a 15 minute drive from HIDDEN HAMMOCK RESORT. Our property is not on a waterfront and there are no public beaches in Summerland Key.

We enjoyed the solitude this place gave us. It was located directly in between Marathon and Key West. The place was nice and clean. The owner was super responsive and had tons of great suggestions of things to do. Definitely recommend and will go back!

Heavenly Hidden Hammocks Resort
Like staying on your own island paradise. The pool was its own oasis. Very quiet and peaceful but close to everything. Absolutely a joy to stay at and we will be returning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Christmas Get-a-way!
It was a great/quiet place. The location was a list of alot of happenings. Close enough to the business of Key West yet far enough to still have a refuge away from so many people. Thanks for a great stay. Hope was very prompt with responses if we had questions. We would come back again.

We had a great experience at this little property. Clean, friendly, a great price, old Florida style, a great middle ground between Keys to enjoy all areas of the keys. Our only complaint was the comfort of the bed. A very soft and squishy mattress that allowed us to roll off the sides. A new mattress would make this property a 5! Beyond the mattress, the property was well equipped and furnished with all of our needs.

Nice except for our lack of storage for clothes or suitcases. Very nice pool area. Close to Key West; not far from Marathon. Quiet with dining nearby. The owner happened to be there & was very responsive to our maintenance request. Laundry very handy.

Total Relaxation
Last minute find and we were impressed. Old Florida at it's best. Definite 5 star in quiet, beauty, and nature. Hope was a fantastic host. The muffins were an additional treat. Grill, Blackstone griddle, washer/dryer, ample common space and very nice pool. Plenty of room to park our trailer and great area to walk or ride your bike. Great location, close to Big Pine, Key West and plenty of restaurants! Improvements are constantly being done. For the price, hard to beat. Thank you again Hope and we will return.

Secluded and perfect for our family
We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Hammock! If you are looking for a place that isn't crowded this place is perfect. We were able to dock our skiff across the street which worked put great. We also enjoyed the pool every evening after coming in from the boat. I will say the 4 bedroom cottage we stayed in was tight for 4 people and recommended 2 adults and 2 children (which was what we had). Communication with owners is excellent!

New Hidden Hammock
Very secluded and private, only 3 units sharing the pool. Because of the close proximity to Key West, many guest take day trips to Key West, therefore 2 days we had the pool all to ourselves. The cleaning ladies do an excellent job inside and outside of the units. All in all we will probably be back.

Great for families!
This was an amazing vacation spot for our family! It is secluded and quiet scenery. The set up is perfect for families, we stayed in units 1&2 and felt we had room for all of us (2 adults and 2 small kids) and our dog. Since unit 1&2 are attached to unit 3, we hope we weren’t disturbing anyone in the attached unit since they are early risers and under the age of 6. The owners were fantastic! They replaced a washer that wasn’t working while we were there and allowed me to use an additional washer and dryer until it was repaired-which I thought was amazing when traveling for a week with the family! Overall we were very pleased and enjoyed our stay!
