"We had a great stay at Rise 'n' Shine farm. The space was very large and the bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable! My kids loved being able to see the animals, and the hosts even let us meet and feed their animals. The location is remote, but a short drive to groceries and the cute beach town of Port St. Joe. The hosts gave us our space/privacy but were very responsive. They also shipped us our ipad when we left it there by accident. All in all, a great place to spend spring break!"

The high ceilings and large windows let in so much natural light, and we loved the vintage touches throughout the space. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to downtown Apalachicola, where we explored local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. It’s also a great base for nearby outdoor adventures, like visiting St. George Island or exploring the Apalachicola National Forest. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They clearly take great pride in this special property, and it shows. If you’re looking for a memorable getaway with history, charm, and a touch of luxury, this train depot is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!"

"I was beyond pleased with our stay at this cottage. I loved everything about it! The location and setting was perfect for us. Totally quiet, calm and relaxing. The decorations and colors were perfect. The furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen and bath was furnished wonderfully. I mean with plush, colorful towels a s cute, quality dish ware. It’s the little things like this that counts! It was lovely to enjoy a cup of coffee out on the deck, with the views and sounds of nature. Our host was amazing too! I would definitely stay here again and again."
