"The room was cleaned but there was a disgusting stain on the carpet next to the bed, no toilet paper holder, unpainted repair in ceiling, blue stains on the bathtub. The price was double the norm because of a Scottish Festival in this small town. Loud neighbors. No coffee in the “breakfast” room because the coffee maker was broken. No good place to take my dog to do his business and stepping in other dog’s poo because there is no garbage nearby and people are lazy. Smoke detectors broken. Broken cover for heat/air. No chair for desk. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Ridge! Check in was a breeze and the property was beautiful, clean, and secluded while still being a perfect commute distance from downtown Batesville and Jamestown Crag. We brought our 7 year old daughter along and she was delighted to find that there were toys and candy at the cabin when we arrived. We made use of the pool and the stunning back deck. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great! Not to mention the bathtub!! Wow. Just a spectacular property.
