The surrounding nature offers a variety of activities and destinations. Experience spectacular scenery and views on the marked hiking trails in Ryfylkeheiane with peaks like Skuteheia and Reinsnuten. Several mountain lakes with good trout stocks invite you to peaceful fishing trips. The nearby lake is also ideal for a refreshing dive into the water. In winter, only a short drive separates you from the nearest ski center, Gullingen, with ski lift and several slopes, while cross-country ski trails start right outside the door - so just strap on your skis and go! You'll also find stores and restaurants in Sand, which is just a short drive away.
