This incredibly quaint cabin is perfect for a couples retreat or a family vacation during any season. We are located in Sugarloaf, CA a community in the Big Bear Valley. The cabin features modern upgrades, open floor plan for the common spaces, large windows, and vaulted beam ceilings to bring nature indoors. Sit back and enjoy the mountain scenery and chirping birds on the large deck or throw a log in the stone fireplace. We welcome dogs, see pet policy below.

The neighborhood is in an area that isn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle of town. It allows you to actually escape the city in a small wooded neighborhood. You are walking distance to local trails that can lead you to the Moonridge area. For bike enthusiast, just get on the bike and ride to the nearest trail to mountain bike.
There is a mini mart and small restaurant/bar a block away.
There is also a park that is about a 15 min walk from the cabin.
You will have access to the entire house with the exception of a the back studio and locked cabinets/storage areas.
The back studio is unoccupied and locked.
Upon arrival you are welcomed into the cabin by an open floor plan for the common living areas (living room, kitchen and dinning room). As you proceed into the hall you will find a bathroom and the doors to the the two bedrooms. The master bedroom is spacious with a comfy King bed and its own bathroom and a door that leads to the backyard. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and Queen sized bed.
Please note we do not have air conditioning - you won't find AC in typical 1970’s mountain cabins and it's rarely hot enough. For warmer summer days, you can open windows to take advantage of the natural cross breezes, augmented by ceiling fans.
The living area has plenty of comfortable seating with a flatscreen Smart TV that will allow you to access to Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.
There is a kitchen with a country oak table for 6. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, toaster, coffee maker, and a 4 burner gas stove top and oven etc.
It is important to note that in order to enter the cabin through the front door. Guest must be able to climb the stairs to the deck, there are 6 steps and railing.
Bearadise Cabin has a completely fenced in rear and side yard that offers on-property snow play for the youngsters in the winter or an area to play. This area also serves our Guest Pets the opportunity to run around and stretch their legs.
Mountain Metro bus picks up and drops off one block away, in front of the Post Office.
** PETS**
Pets are permitted only with prior approval of the property OWNER and payment of pet fee. Maximum of 2 dog. In bringing a pet TENANT agrees to follow the included pet rules. No pet on bed, must be potty trained, must have up to date flea and tick treatment and vaccinations. It's TENANTS responsibility to pick up all dog poop prior to check out. Pet must be attended to at all times or kenneled and no pets left in the cabin (unless kenneled) or left in the yard unattended too. Please keep in mind that the backyard is currently fenced. If you have an escape artist, keep them on a leash. We are surrounded by nature and wildlife that can easily scale fences and trees. Property OWNERS assume no responsibility for your pet. TENANTS are to take reasonable action to not allow Pet from creating a nuisance, annoyance and disturbance to the neighbors. TENANTS are solely responsible for your pet on or off the property. TENANTS will comply with all applicable statues, local ordinances, rules and regulations. TENANTS shall be liable for any damage, loss or injury cause by Guest Pet.
**Security System**
The Cabin is equipped with Ring cameras on the exterior. This provides a safe environment for our guests, ensures that occupancy and pet policies are maintained.
**WINTER TRAVEL**
Please be aware that during winter months, chains and 4x4 requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. All guests booking a stay in the winter should anticipate the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear and should planning accordingly. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. Partial refund is considered if all 3 roads to Big Bear are CLOSED. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact us.
**Snow Removal**
Snow removal is done at 4 inches or more, after the storm slows down. Snow shovel is provided. The plow team is on their own route and schedule. Please plan ahead for weather and snow.
