STARGAZER | AC Unit, Dogs, Spa, by lake and trails

STARGAZER with its vaulted ceilings and windows is perched high for the ultimate in view and privacy while bringing the outdoors to your bedside. Back to the edge of the forest, it's just steps away from intoxicating scenery, sledding slopes, and hiking trails. STARGAZER has something for everyone and the charming Village just a short ride away. For those who can't bear to leave their furry friends behind, STARGAZER is pet-friendly (with a maximum of 2 dogs) , Please note, no cats are allowed.
Check In: Welcome to your A-Chalet property. Prior to arrival, please complete the welcome submission form. Thank you

Pets: As a reminder, there is a $60 pet fee per dog (max 2). Please keep dogs off furniture and beds and in a crate if you leave the premises. Always keep dogs close by and on leash at all times.

Trash: Trash breakdown: (Black Cart) Please only include household trash, food taste, food containers, animal waste (bagged), lightweight plastics and styrofoam, & clothing.

(Blue cart) Flattened cardboard, paper & paperboard, newspaper & magazines, aluminum, tin & lightweight metals, glass bottles & jars & cartons.

(Non accepted curbside) Electronics or batteries, dirt, rock, constructive debris, & hazardous waste

Fireplace: complimentary bundle of wood is provided per stay.

Thermostat: Set to desired temperature and back to 65° when check out

Kitchen Cleanup: Kitchen is to be cleaned after meals, inclusive of washing and putting away the dishes that you use during your stay to avoid additional cleaning fees.

BBQ: Please clean the grill and turn off the valve on the propane tank after using the BBQ to avoid additional cleaning and propane refill charges of $100.

Spa: Please rinse off before using Spa (prevents oil and makeup build up).Turn spa up to desired temperature and back to 95 when finished. If water is murky, we will have to do a dump and fill which will be $175 extra charge. In addition, please make sure the spa cover is sealed and clipped tightly.

Snow Removal: Shovel and salt are provided per property. Please use it accordingly. Plow services will come during or after 3” of snow.

Wonderful stay at Big Bear Lake
The house was a perfect size for 4 of us. It was located in a cute, quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in Big Bear. The house was clean and well equipped. I would recommend this house and host to anyone. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy, relaxing and peaceful!
My husband and I brought our friends, a couple, for an extended weekend of relaxation. We enjoyed the Stargazer so much! We bbq’d, watched movies, played the game machines they had in the cabin. Chris was so quick to answer any questions we had. We accidentally blew a fuse and it was early in the morning, Chris handled it immediately! Communication was great. They had a bottle of wine, some snacks, coffee and little things for us. It was so nice. We enjoyed the hot tub, it was large and very comfy where people weren’t just right on top of each other. We also loved the patio furniture around the hot tub to just sit and chat. It’s about a 15minute drive to the village but we kinda liked being just outside with more peace and quiet! Thanks for a great stay, this would be a cabin we would come back to!
