It was quiet and secluded. The view was wonderful.
This property has a beautiful view and lots to do. The hiking trails behind the property are well maintained. Hot-tub and all the amenities worked great. I would recommend and stay here again.
Such a wonderful experience and the property was beautiful. I was blown away! We caught lots of fish, hiked and were so comfortable in the home! Hope to be back!
Exactly as presented. So close and easy to get to Hocking Hills. The view, the porch, the hot tub, was the greatest. So clean, and great amenities. It made our weekend, and we’re already planning on coming back in the summer.
We stayed here for the weekend, very clean and spacious, exceeded our expectations. Communication with managers was very prompt and friendly. We are definitely coming back!
Nice private spot. Great hot tub to watch the stars. Management was great at communicating and seeing if you needed anything. Plenty of cell phone reception. Nice pond and very wooded .
Kids thoroughly enjoyed fishing and each caught a fish or two. Hot tub was delightful after a long day of hiking. Only small complaint is that the lighting could be better in the kitchen for evening cooking. Everything was fantastic and we all made great memories while on the property!
My brothers and I stayed for three nights here and really loved it. Kitchen had any utensil or amenity you would need, internet and Wi-Fi worked well, even outside of the cabin on the deck and at fire ring which was nice. Caught two bass in the pond and saw lots of sunfish. Listen to the frogs all night long under the stars. Loved this place.
The place is very nice. It is out there away from everyone. The owners were very nice and communicated very well with us. There are games for the kids which they enjoyed and fishing for us which had some of the biggest sunfish we have ever seen. If you enjoy the outdoors you will like this place. They also have paths through the woods to hike. Very well maintained. We really enjoyed the place and the owners.
We loved our stay at The Lookout! Property was clean and as advertised in the photos. Check-in was seemless and property managers were readily availabe for anything needed. We loved the private trails and private pond for fishing. We did bring our own poles, but there were some provided as well. The kids loved the loft area. The property isnt far from many HH attraction like the waterfalls, caves, winery, etc. Highly recommend!
We have been on many family vacations, but this property was above them all. They truly have everything you need to relax and enjoy your trip. They provided a high chair, portable crib, games for all ages, puzzles, crayons and coloring books, and they even had child plates. Sometimes packing for vacation is just as stressful and to know that this was all provided was wonderful. The property is gorgeous. There is fishing, trails, a fire pit and hot tub without leaving the property. It is close to Hocking Hills State Park, restaurants, and shopping. The property owners were very communicative with fast response times and wonderful to talk too. They truly want you to relax and enjoy your stay. Already looking forward to going back.
The cabin was perfect and the view had us captivated. We were able to spend Thanksgiving morning making breakfast and watching the parade as a family, the day hiking on the property, and then cooking thanksgiving dinner. We would definitely come back and recommend!
Listing definitely makes property appear larger than it is. It worked ok for a young family of 4 but imagine older kids or bigger group would find it tight. Property is definitely worn down…sink leaked, sliding doors weren’t secure (handles coming unscrewed), etc. It was our first time in the area and we were underwhelmed overall. Location was fine to hiking and food but just wish the property had been a little more updated. It may be the overall vibe of the region but just was expecting a little more based on listing and images. I will say the outside of the property is nice…fire pit and deck made it tolerable but wish the hot tub was better maintained too (had dirt and rocks in the bottom. Don’t know if we’d go to Hocking Hills again, but will look for a newer/fresher property if we do.

Great private get away
The cabin is nice but needs a few updates. The drywall is splitting in some areas and the ceiling is dirty. The appliances are dated and the bedroom sliding door is coming loose. The cabin was clean overall and the location is cozy and secluded. The host were very responsive. We would love to stay again at the big house on the property.
Overall it was a good stay just wish the cabin would have been in a little bit better shape for the money spent.
