"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. There was only one outlet for us to re-charge our electronics on. The lighting was very poor. We somewhat enjoyed our stay because of the nostalgic factor, but really...

"We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. "My family of four spends time in the mountains before Christmas every year. This year we had the pleasure of spending time at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was so cozy and clean. We loved the location and the views from the cabin. We felt secluded but were very close to the surrounding areas such as Boone and Banner Elk.We highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is ready to relax and enjoy the peaceful location!"

"we truly got more than we expected. It was absolutely beautiful and clean. The beds were so comfortable. I couldn’t believe how spacious the rooms were. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the petting zoo and the animals were super friendly,. The containment area for all the animals was kept extremely clean as well. I really can’t say enough nice things about or stay there and we look forward to going back again next year for our annual winter vacation."
